  • I think I know where Steve got those beads

  • Science is only fun on youtube. It sucks how I am doing biology and we do boring stuff. I want to do stuff like this or something

  • I CHECKED OUT UR SITE AND YOU SELL THE BOO BUBBLE THINGS XD

  • I did this with toilet paper....

  • im watching this cuz my mom is litterely crying and i know i sound nerdy but i really feel bad 4 her.....someone really hurt her feelings..

  • beads...dirty mind

  • The pink stuff.... HES POURING IT.

  • Will these work when you siphon them two strands at a time?

  • Aha I watched this video and then the next day I went to the dollar store and bought a slinky, then I think about it - it works a bit like the newton beads.

  • can i buy the pink polymer?

  • @717shaye stevespanglerscience. com and check out Gravi-Goo. And be sure to watch The Spangler Effect, our new show which launched this month. Thanks for liking our videos!

  • @SteveSpanglerScience What channel does it come on for dish network?

  • Steve where do you work or stay most of the time when i get into the 6th grade next year i want to job shadow you! Do you even allow people to job shadow you? If you do what would you do?

  • neo cube ? :)

  • @GimpIsNuts Hahahah yeah that's the first thought that cae to mind when he pulled the beads out, I got my neocube out :P

  • I really need to complete my science homework....one more.........200 videos later :D

  • i thought he was going to put the gold beads in the polyethalenoxyd and see what happend when it starts to pour out.

  • If its self siphoning why is he continously tipping the beaker?

  • @Keeganschannel gravity

  • This works with liquids too.

  • :33 who does this Steve Spangler think he is? the science guy? NO! that Bill Nye's job

  • shes hot.

  • steve spangler is a genius and is awesome!

  • can you touch the pink stuff?

  • What what happen if you cut that liquid in half with a knife?

  • Is that the same stuff they used as the ooze in Ghostbusters 2?

  • What if when you pull out the beads you just throw them in another beaker ? :}

  • All those beads got her excited....

  • can i use anal beads?

  • Drink the pink stuff and see if it can find its own way out of you

  • But why are you pouring the polyethylene oxide out?

  • This is cool. Thanks for uploading Steve!

  • I have a 7th-8th grade science fair coming up in February and Its required for my 8th grade science class. any suggestions?

  • @oddysea682 There are lots and lots of really cool science fair ideas at our site. Go to

    Steve Spangler Science . com

Search "Science Fair". There are tips, experiment suggestions and a lot more. Good luck!

  • @Stevespanglerscience u are Great scientist

  • @oddysea682 also me :D

  • @oddysea682

Dude, I would suggest Rube Goldberg machines. Those stuff are awesome.

  • @oddysea682 u should go their wedsite!

  • awesome!

  • really cool nice steve spangler

  • nice..

  • mmm pink booger snot

  • Can Steve just let one end into the bottle and let the whole thing rolls into it

  • what are the materials you've used?

  • The beads are called 'Newton's Beads.' You can find them at

    SteveSpanglerScience . com

    Thanks so much for watching!

  • This Is Sooooo Cool!

  • Where do u get the slim stuff from

  • so much more fun than my lab sessions..

  • it makes me think of the goop from Ghostbusters XD

  • That's how you steal gas.

  • I love his channel its really helpful

  • oh would you look at that mess...I think I'll leave now

  • the liquid vesion is even ausomer

  • I love how the plug for the website always gets cut off :)

  • i learned this every year at christmas when i was putting beads on the tree

  • I should do math ... but this is more fun

  • @xXTheFalleniOneXx i have an English essay due, LOL

  • WRONG he said it was in free fall, but it isn't. free fall is where the only force acting upon something is gravity. with this there is friction from the atmosphere

  • @cweida111 i really hope u dont go video to video doing this lol

  • @cweida111 Although strict technical application of the definition excludes motion of an object subjected to other forces such as aerodynamic drag, in nontechnical usage, falling through an atmosphere without a deployed parachute, or lifting device, is also often referred to as free fall.

  • try making these beads fall over to the other glass!

  • did this when I was a kid...was a jolly good time.

  • Steve Spangler, when was your last girlfriend?

  • The Spangler household sounds like it's a million times better than Disney world!

  • SLIME ITS A RIVER OF SLIME

  • @AltShiftSmoke Ghostbusters FTW

  • they look stup!d if they do that

  • they look stupid if they do that

  • they look stupid :D

  • he did the exsact same things in that gravi goo episode

  • I thought the title said Newton's beard :D

  • have fun cleaning that

  • Steve... You know a Polymer is a long chain of ATOMS not molecules; so why say its a ling chan of molecules?

  • @luigi90900 A polymer is a long chain of monomers, which are, in fact, molecules.

  • 0:33 PRESENTING Steve Spangler...

Defending his TITLE AS SCIENCE GUY!

    Ohh wait.. :D

  • Purple and gold raider colors!

  • Steve Splanger

    Science GUY

    Science GUY ONLY?!?!!?!

    Like this if you agree

  • you could just do it off the table back into the jar :P

  • this show is like the sesame street of science experiment

  • i kinda knew this

  • im the kig of girl that will be entertained by any of that for DAYS and im 13

  • oh man u r my idol

  • purple and gold. SPARTAN COLORS

  • Purple and gold! Illahee Middle Schools colors! ( in federal way, wa )

  • i love these videos, they just take forever to load

  • Where can I get that gel

  • She always looks at the camera when he does his lame but hilarious jokes.

  • That is REALLY amusing!

  • WHAT? It’s not that long!

PEO's monomer is C4H8O2 and has an amu of 88, divide from 4 million amu, we have about 45,000 units making up this polymer. Oxygen and carbon atoms are about the same diameter and the straight chain goes like this C-C-O-C-C-O for about 270,000 atoms. The diameter of one atom is about 145 picometers. So 270 K atoms x that diameter is about 36 micrometers, This is roughly 1/3 the thickness of a sheet of paper. How could you think this could stretch to the moon & back??

  • ok i've heard this word one million friggen times but what is a molecule?

  • @zombiehunter4life You gotta stop playing Left 4 Dead, dude. It's like you're the only guy who doesn't know that. Ask your teacher.

  • @zombiehunter4life A molecule is a group of atoms. A group of molecules forms a substance. So the surrounding air exists of air molecules. So molecules are small particles "floating" around. Everything exists out of molecules. I hope that answers your question.

  • @zombiehunter4life Seriously, they teach this stuff in every school grade from 5-12. Irish school education is seriously, SERIOUSLY lacking, if they don't teach kids something so basic.

  • @Mac1634 i learned about molecules in 2nd grade my neighbor has no clue what it is and shes in 2nd grade education all over the world is lacking

  • @RobyAnn4 that is just a completely idiotic statement. Because your neighbor has no clue what a molecule is, education in japan, or the next school district is lacking? Education OVERALL in the US is lacking because of the extremely poor economy, and as a result schools have suffered. ALSO if it is how you say, wouldnt it mean that your generation is the one causing the problems? Meaning that the adult teachers aren't teaching the students effectively. I'm sick of people like you.

  • @evanthepanther if your sick of ignorant people then dont respond to ignorance.

  • @evanthepanther call me ignorant but who are you blaming for the American people being ignorant the students or the teachers I'm blaming the students because I'm one of them but not an idiot and gone through the same teachings as them

  • @zombiehunter4life A molucule is a bunch of atoms ( 2 or more) joined toghther,if the same atoms of any element join its called a molecule of a element but if different atoms join its called a molecule of a compound learnt in grade 6

  • fit!

  • Please don't talk so fast ... after this video I feel totally stressed.

  • XD liquid slinky

  • slime how do we make that pink slime >??

  • for 4 people this dont work.

  • Shes a little hotty

  • She wants to try so bad...

  • i thouht it was steve strangler lol

  • y would u give a paycheck .... LOL.... this was koool but not that fun as the colour mixing

  • cool

  • I know the viscosity is what draws the liquid out, but when you said speeds up and up the further from the ground it goes.

But technically doesn't it only speed up to 9.8 m/s^2 because that is the pull on gravity and terminal velocity, just wondering if something can go faster down?

  • @mikegrandal You're thinking of gravity as a velocity when it fact it's an acceleration...hence the squared term in the denominator. Objects falling toward the earth increase in velocity by 9.8 meters per second, per second. So then in theory, after only one second of free fall an object would have reached that velocity, and any further time spent falling will result in higher velocities. Don't know what you mean to say when you say terminal velocity?

  • @mikegrandal Wiki is your friend. Search for "terminal velocity".

  • i love your videos

  • i love your videos :D

  • How do you make the goop?

  • Can u buy the pink blob?

  • that happen to me with my toliet paper alll the way to the bottom!! XD

  • @fortunewfortune ay me to

  • using those beads and a mcdonalds straw it makes for a fun lil bb gun

  • hahawhen they said it stars and dosent stop i fellof the couch with a leg cramp and couldent stop falling

  • 4 once, THAT WAS COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • steve i have a expiriment request first try at home you take dry ice in a jar make fog close the jar and it may pop off i tried the citric acid and baking soda explosion with a bottle

  • THIS GUY IS AWSOME!

  • woow just cool and awsome, i am watching those progamsfor very ong time and i think yhey are great, thanks.

  • They thought it strange when laughing came out of the physics lab.

  • That chick is all "Yea, right, mmHmm.." but she is totally completely clueless. She's really thinking, "Wow that's like the beads hanging from the mirror in my car!"...

  • cool

  • AINT THAT FUN !?

  • @RootbeerIsBomb whats your point????

  • zomg!?!?!? thats so flippin kewl i can wait for mardi gras coule of hours (probably days of putting beads togather and a TRASHCAN!!!

  • LOL!!

  • holy !@#$%^&*(&^%$# this guy i good and he has good experiments!

  • Man, I love this guy...and the co-host is pretty cute as well.

  • omg these are so cool

  • we did this in my 8th grade year now u baby site and teach as i watch i use chrsitmas tree beads just beads you can add them together by twisting the last bead on each strand togerher

  • wow very interesting!

  • nice job steve

  • cool

  • That was cool!

  • very interesting

  • Amazingly amazing much?
