  • The composer did mark some some staccatos and marcatos. Maybe not play through the acoustic so much?

  • The rythmn was not quite steady in places, but to call this a grim performance is being quite harsh. It was certainly passable, although personally I think the trumpet could have been played a little more detached.

  • I thought continuous (Dupré) legato was out of date.

  • What a grim performance - all over the place!

  • hahaha you could say that again.

  • Awful, so unrhythmic.

  • This is a wonderful instrument & church. Scott Montgomery 2006 NYACOP competition winner recorded this piece on this organ & the entire CD (Pro Organo/Gothic) is incredible. $ Well spent.

  • Hey, thanks for your comment!

  • Nice organ, nice reverberation, nice playing, delicious console assistant!

  • Wonderful! This is one of my 'alltime favorite' concert pieces -- fun to play and hear. Thanks for sharing it!

  • (AND console assistant Dr. Ritter was having a fabulous hair day, was he not?)

  • Fabulous rendition on a grand organ. Makes me want to rustle up a band of brothers and take over some country in the name of the British Empire! (You'll be our Crusade Court Musician, OK?

  • Great organ and organist. The audience should have waited until all the reverberations decayed before applauding.
