I tell you my fellow Christians, that all the sins in this world is accountable to the churches, for if they only unite and upheld free giving instead of buying and selling, there could be no robber and thieves among them, nor is there a chance for athiestic view to rise. The Way of God had suffered abusive speech from the enemies of God because the churches are harlot.
The rythmn was not quite steady in places, but to call this a grim performance is being quite harsh. It was certainly passable, although personally I think the trumpet could have been played a little more detached.
This is a wonderful instrument & church. Scott Montgomery 2006 NYACOP competition winner recorded this piece on this organ & the entire CD (Pro Organo/Gothic) is incredible. $ Well spent.
Fabulous rendition on a grand organ. Makes me want to rustle up a band of brothers and take over some country in the name of the British Empire! (You'll be our Crusade Court Musician, OK?
The composer did mark some some staccatos and marcatos. Maybe not play through the acoustic so much?

I thought continuous (Dupré) legato was out of date.

Wonderful! This is one of my 'alltime favorite' concert pieces -- fun to play and hear. Thanks for sharing it!

Great organ and organist. The audience should have waited until all the reverberations decayed before applauding.
