It's nice they still allow that in Japan. Here in the US, that's not allowed anymore as it's seen as promoting smoking to kids. Funny though... it was allowed decades ago and the packages did look like the real thing. I have found that Japanese candy has a lot less sugar than American candy, but it's more flavorful. I would agree that American candy has too much sugar.

@GrnArrow092 That's odd because I live in England and a lot of the candy I've tasted from the US was primarily corn syrup based, and most of it tasted like shit. Twizzlers were exceptionally vile, especially the fruit flavoured ones, tootsie rolls were kind of ok. The only thing I really liked were three musketeers bars. Of course that's based on the few sweets I tried.
