ive got a webley ratcatcher that leaks gas down the barrel and around the breech, does anyone know if it could be the valve stem rather than the washers? as its a new gun and never been used?

Hi I got one of these guns 3 weeks ago and just bought a new stronger hamer spring is it easy to fit and have you ever had prob with the co2 getting stuck after adding the new stronger hammer spring also the spring I got as a brass thing on the end witch way does it go in.and what did u think of the scope that came with the gun I just carnt seem to get it sighted in don't no if its the scope or me lol thanks
