  • Very well spoken, fair and a lot of good points! GREAT REVIEWER!

  • PLEASE ANSWER MY QUESTION. is that a RayMan Raving Rabbid in a TMNT game, or am I just seeing things?

  • slow version of brawl? wow thats like MEGA slow then

  • Why are you fighting Uma Thurman in the game?

  • @DrakeIcn dude thats april o neil

  • Do you play this game online? I'll add you video game player compatriot!

  • mayby there gonna do a sequel

  • this is more like a realistic moving game :)

  • So when is the creaters of Ninja Turtles get there heads out of their arses and make a modern day Ninja Turtles game based on the hit cartoon series that gave TMNT its legion of fans. Bring back the classic characters like Krang, Bebop, Rocksteady, Baxter Stockman, Leatherhead, Rat King, Mousers, Foot Soldiers (as robots), Krang's Rock Soldiers and even allies like Metalhead, April's news team, the Frog's, the ninja Rabbit (I forget his name), etc.

  • Usagi Yojimbo. Yea I hear you.

  • Why can't all you picky TMNT fans accept Utrominator for Krang I mean common he looks like Krang but he looks more like a badass and is freaking awseome to play as and u got to give them credit cause of course due to licensing issues they couldn't put the original Krang in the game but the wung it and still offered Utrominator who is indeed Krang...don beleive me then go to TMNT game .com and see for yourself

  • Mortal mutant ninja kompat. Yeah, this was pretty much the reason turtles died for good ten years. Yeah, I'm talking about Turtles Tournament fighters.

What happened to awesome Double Dragon beat 'em up? Double Dragon 5 The shadow falls, that's what happened.

Well, it's not like Turtles games been good lately but still...

    When do they learn?

  • is this avaliable on PC?

  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Party Game-Up

  • Its only one player during missions..it sux

  • 0h, ppl that complain about the cutscenes.. ITs ment to look like the old comic book.

  • Which conveniently are the cheapest to animate... which don't look very good either.

  • @NoodleNoodler I don't remember the comic looking that shit.

  • my first impresion was that it this game sucks, but on friday gamestop had a save 20 dollars on this game so i decided to buy it and ive got to say, this game rocks! sad to say but it is better than super smash bros brawl! wifi is way better, combos, everything! BUY IT!

  • @Joshkike It's unbalanced as shit though.

  • @Joshkike I'm not gonna agree.

while Wifi is better, Brawl has WAY more things to do

    35 charaters

    over 500 trophies

    a better adventure mode

and yes, I have both of these games

  • Get the ps2 version (for those of you who have a ps2), it's much cheaper (more than half the price compared to the wii version) and is basically the same.

  • I personally think the game is decent, its not a smash brother brawl killer by any means, but it doesn't have to, its the best TMNT to come out in a while, and begin a turtles fan that I am, that's just satysfy me. Granted it would been nice to have more characters, instead of the stupid Raymand rabbids, they should have include Saki which is the real rabbit samurai from TMNT. The online is much better than Brawl, and the story sequences pay omage to the original TMNT comic books.

  • Sorry I meant to say Usagi, not saki. XP

  • hey turtles are reptiles

  • good reveiw.

  • Raving Rabbit!? O_O

  • A very good review, I look forward to playing this when it is released in the UK. Really, only actual turtles fans will be getting this I imagine; like me :)

  • I wouldn't get this game anyway only because it's so obviously a brawl knock-off that wouldn't have a chance of being as well-polished. The online play is probably the only feature that may have been improved, yes. Brawl's online isn't terrible, however, when you play with registered friends with a good connection.

Also, I've never been a turtles fan.

  • Good review can you review Dead Space Extraction next?

  • None of this matters. most 10 year olds aren't gonna care about this game and Brawl's similarity. If they like TMNT and Fighting games, Dad may not care much for it, but the kids will love it. Anyone can see this game was not made for anyone who grew up in the 80's. The Character design alone, told me this game was not designed for a 30 year old child.

  • Actually it completely matters because this review is informational and lets people know in my target audience what this game's target audience is. Gameplay is not age-specific and everyone enjoyed Brawl. Just because typical kiddies have no taste still doesn't mean that something is good. Also, Ubisoft's initial marketing made this game look like it would be for both the Brawl audience and the longtime Turtle fanbase from back in the 80's.

  • Well, said, and great review. I've only just started playing the game myself and I reckon it will be in a bargain bin by the end of the week. To say its not for the 80s fans is just a cop-out. Its their 25th anniversary this year. The game is built with seat fillers for the 80s series, hence utrominator instead of krang, like they were meant to be there, but liscencing prevented them, and they had to make do. But still look for more choices! Triceratons would have been better than Rabbids, FFC!

  • Being a Smash Brawler I knew to stay away from this game, but you helped me hate it more. I still think kid's would like it. The typical kiddies, that you say have no taste, are neither watching your video's or can be held by the un-spoken standards, Because they are outside your target audience. I avoid terms like "you have no taste" cause that is only possible if you write off everyone's opposing tastes outside the tiny circle one is in.

  • I agree with you. From the start I knew this game was going to be a failure. TMNT 3 Mutant Nightmare was great, the ester eggs rock! Raph says "What the @#$&" The game play takes time on getting use to when you play it for years it's just like your watching Ninja Turtles. TMNT Turtles In Time Re-Shelled rocks, but they could have done more. I'm a Smash Brawler, as soon as this game shone up I said it's a TMNT version of Brawl... But Rayman Raging Rabbits in TMNT they know that was a bad idea.

  • Very lame that they include a weird robot and a rabbid from Rayman while they could have include Bebob, Rocksteady or Krang instead. I was lookingf forward to this game because of the 25th birthday of the Turtles. But this is so wrong! What were they thinking? I mean, i saw the Technodrome in a arena...but were the hell is Krang?! And why does this game include the logo of the TV-series while there are no refferences in the game?

  • turtles are reptiles not amphibians.

  • Eyes turn red...Bwaaaaah!!

  • I still might give this game a try since it looks preety good and im a pretty big TMNT fan

  • Solid work as always NC :)

  • six, really? I would give it a seven.

  • I don't really plan on getting this, but I freaking love the fact that it's got the same flair as the Eastman and Laird comics in the cutscenes. Great stuff. Good review, Chris.

  • Cow, eh?

  • a 6? really. i think 5 is far more deserving

  • spoilers?

  • it's like star wars the force unleashed: an average game that only had hipe due to the fact of the franchise it was based off of.

  • Nice review :)

  • Good review, but a note to you and to everyone about this fact: turtles are reptiles.

Anyway, it'll be interesting to see what you have to say about Tatsunoko vs. Capcom once it's released.

  • best description ever

  • Another good review
