To me good spirituality is a part of good neurology. The more evolved a culture's consciousness is the more tools they have to improve the mind. This is the fundamental aspect of meditation. I would say for sure that ET's would access meditation as one form of development for the mind along with many others. I suspect meditation may have been a an ancient guift from ET's in UFOs :-)

papasmurf :) There are over 70 caves at Bezeklik. Thousand Buddha caves, represents that in most of the caves they had painted around 1000 Buddha images in each cave. They only let people into a few caves on rotation. Few images remain intact unfortunately.
Photography is not permitted inside the caves & it took many hours of hunting to find all these images. The images inside the caves were taken in secret. In the images from the Berlin Museum you can see where they were cut in sections.
Liverty4Uand Me :) Sir Aurel Stein took most of the frescos away for fame and profit, unfortunately most of the images that he looted, were reduced to rubble during the booming of Berlin in WW2.
JD thanks for posting. It is suggested the symbols on the caves represent a much different sky which existed in ancient times.....david talbot has much research in this regard.

Why do the storks of the mushrooms look like flames? Why do some have no storks? it's like they are floating.

Also there are Buddhist writings that mention the sightings of the celestial beings coming down from the sky and protecting Buddha from above.
