main motors known in this model mirage (lancer, colt ect.) are 4g15(1.5l sohc) 4g93(1.8l sohc) the 2 US models, and then the models the US were deprived of 4g93t(1.8l turbo sohc), 4g15 (the 1.5l DOHC model), 4g92(1.6l mivec DOHC), 4G63T (2.0l turbo dohc evo motor). NO TURBO so its not an evo 4G63T or the 4g93T, it does have DOHC, so this has to be the 1.5l DOHC or the 1.6l mivec motor. the 1.5 dohc would not be able to keep up with a doch vtec civic. SO ITS A 1.6l MIVEC. great vid.

ok...that is a mitsu mirage, FWD 1.6??? unless it was an ls which is 1.8 liter??? thats no evo my friend, and yea an evo would kick ass from beginning because of the less slip the AWD has compared to the civics FWD

Thats a Mitsubishi Mirage 1.8L (dont know if it is a Technica), you could tell by the sound and the block of the motor!!!!I should know because I have a Mitsubishi Mirage Technica

sorry your wrong, its a 1.6l DOHC mivec, 4G92 to be exact, not the 4G93 1.8l SOHC that your thinking of. they do have the same block though that your right on.

there is no way that is an evo, WERE IS THE INTERCOOLER,WERE IS THE TURBO, the pod filter goes straight to the inlet, dosn't pass through the turbo, or intercooler because neither are there

Sometimes what you see is not always what it seems to be.Anything that shines doesn't have to be gold right?No actual race that night(prefered not to push it to the limits that night due to some overheating problems).A strong example is the scene with the cooper. As soon as the lancer passes by you can clearly listen how 'hard the Ek9's revving was'(not pretty hard huh?):)But i'll make sure i post a video of a race as soon as i meet up with my friend again. My Ek9 hits 102km in 2nd gear@8600rpm.

hehe, cool, just to be make sure... The stock Ek9 hits 0-60 in 5.7secs... But on some parts it seems that on the long straights the lancer was keeping up pretty good and your EK9 was revving pretty hard... My Ek9 hits 101km(62.5mph) in 2nd gear @ 8600rpm, how about yours?

I know my EK9 would woop that lancer easily and by a big margin.

there was no actual race during that time. we just tried to make a cool video clip covering all the angles of the cars.(notice the mini cooper in front of us) As you already said EK9 does what you say :)
