this is 90's rally so it was on the north of the continental part of the country, now they only do it in the south so that it is less expensive, but the best rally stages are on the north..

the rali vinho da madeira is on Madeira, wich is an archipelago an there is where the IRC goes, but not the WRC..

It differs between co-drivers. Basically, Colin's co-driver calls out the direction of the corner as well as the severity (how sharp) and how far away it is, eg: 6 left 200. Which means, its a long wide corner to the left to be taken in 6th gear and its 200m away (when the note is called).

Richard Burns' preferred a much more complicated system of note calling from his codriver (Robert Reid).

numbers are types of turns. some people say hairpin right or some say 1right. both mean same thing. 1=hairpin 2=bad or acute 3=kay 4=medium 5=easy 6=flat
