I did this show a few years ago and we kicked this songs ass! Heck, we kicked every songs ass!!!! In fact we kicked the whole shows ass. Godspell isn't meant to be a bunch of odd characters, but instead a bunch of great people learning about God. This recording is just a bunch of odd characters. if you want to do this show do it like my cast did and putsome heart, soul, and a crapload of fun into the show then you can honestly say that " i was in the show Godspell" with pride!!!!!!!
My school just had this play and I will post what ours sounded like cuz it sounds way better
