i have lived here (midwest city/okc area) my whole life and i won't leave unless i have to :) my b/f was stationed at tinker for 11 years and when they told him he had to pcs or retire he picked retire

You'd better hope you can get a deferrment from the army. Oklahoma is HELL on Earth, no wait Hell is better than Oklahoma. As someone who lived in this shithole for 15+ years, I can tell you that you will absolutely hate everything about this place. The best day of my life was leaving.
