i have 15inch lancer oz rims.. they have i 2 have 195 55 15 and 2 have 205 60 15 not sure how wide the rim is but what size tire would be perfect for stretching??
@z33twinturbo stretching tires lets you run very tight clearances between the body and the wheel. Many people like this look, others do not. There are many different ways for people to enjoy modifying cars, this is one of them.
@g0j1ra Hmm. i personally go for the flush look by getting the widest wheels/tires I can get on my car. Now that the Z is going widebody the 305 rear aint shit... gotta get spacers at least until I can afford 12 inch wheels :/
I agree with you @z33twinturbo I definitely think the squarer sidewall suits a Z33/Z34 better.
For other cars it also really depends on ride height. If the sidewall of the tire is lower than the fender I prefer non-stretched, if the sidewall is inside the fender then stretched tires can give a really nice look.
I hope you can upload some videos of your car in action!

@DREWCIVIC Ok it was a typo. But your still a dick with a gay car. And your too stupid to go back to my first reply and see there was no offending.Doosh.
@DREWCIVIC Lets look into why I called you a dick.....I made a comment about the spelling of tire in order to help g0j1ra get more hits, completely unaware that there was more then one way to spell tyre. Once you start a fight be prepared to pay the bill..... Hands in fire...Get burnt......
@stevepitbull Tyre is the British spelling of what Americans spell tire. And since you speak English and not American you should observe proper English and spell English words correctly instead of modifying them. Examples are color/colour, centre/center, grey/gray, mould/mold, sulphur/sulfur, encyclopaedia/encylopedia, dickhead/yank.
@eurobred Knowledge of grammar beyond ones country has NO bearing on how intelligent they are. I am unconcerned about geography. However I could always learn. You cant change the fact you are a dumb ass though. You cant even comprehend the fact that I was trying to help the guy out, doosh!
I tried this method, it takes too long is not the safe, cuz sometime u really have to pull the tube now is the thing snaps is bound to hit something, instead the redneck style, is pretty quick and safe, u just gotta choose the right spray and the right amount u gonna put into the tire, light it up, and that is.
i have stretched on my car and havnt had any down sides yet...but u cant take sharp turns anymore and be extra carefull when u park!!!....my offset is also very aggressive so i rub alot since im lowered...but if your offset isnt ass crazzy as most VIP cars...u should be fine...just be care full when u make fast hard turns cuz then youll be on your lip...and that will for sure damage your wheels...hope this helps :-)

That was hardly even a stretch. I throw 205 and 215 40s on 9js with no cheta blaster, no brake cleaner, and no bike tubes. Just hook the air up to the stem.
And those were a federal, the easiest tire in the world to stretch. Tell me this was just an example, because there was no need in going through all that trouble.
Na man, dont take it wrong, I actually didnt know that trick until I seen you do it actually do it. I was just surprised at seeing what should have been a strait forward "put air in the tire" stretch that someone went with the trouble.
I have had 1 time however that a tire just didnt want to take air and its partner did just fine which didnt make sence to me, this trick would have came in handy as I didnt have any brake cleaner on hand.
good video man, ive just been going around garages looking to have my tyres fitted, 245/40/18 onto a 10.5" wide wheel, but no one seems to want to do it.
I wonder when you're gonna kill yourself riding so stretched tires. I will never understand that way of car tunning. Cutting springs, stretching tires... Village-tunning it is called in my country.
There is this stuff called "Murphys tire and tube mounting compound" Simply sit your tire wheel assembly on a bucket so the tire sets all the way against the back bead and you have a gap in the front, begin to fill the gap with the murphys compound, pack it in, dont be afraid to use alot. hook the air to it, it will seat up, as it seats, scoop the murphys off back into the bucket. It's messy but it works, you can pick it up at any Truck pro, or anywhere that sells semi parts
When I get some time I will try and make a better video that shows more clearly how it is done. I might try and do it a bunch of different ways so that I don't get the "oh we use claymore mines to beads our tires, you're a girl" comments that my old Tire Ninja video got...
you could also pack the bead with tire grease to fill the gap, though grease will probably get into the tire and stay there till its changed over to another set of tires.
This way has been around since tubeless tires came out. They still sell "Bead seating bands"
It's just that they don't really make them small enough to for car wheels, they're mainly for commercial trucks and otr tires. Hence where the bicycle tube comes in.
x ultimo que alguien se digne aa enseñar o explicar en castellano , alomejor con este video se ve entendible pero .. es mejor q t expliquen para poder desarrollarlo ."que alguien lo haga en castellano!!!
Not just for looks. A stretched tire also stiffens the sidewall and makes the tire roll over on itself less in corners.
