I thought you were more like 12 or 13. I think you'll find it's not that people think 23 year olds are too young to do whatever they're suggesting you're too young to do, but that people think you're a LOT younger than you are.
WOOO HOO you go GOOOORL! Just keep doing your thing and as long as you are happy with it ... GOOD!!! there are tons of people that will say stuff to you and they do the same thing (or worse) but just like to hear themselves talk (I supose).
I am 33 and I get the "you are too young" speech too. (probably because I do not have children... kids make you age I guess)
salaam alaykum wa rahmatullahi. People offered (and still do) me advice all my life because I look young. Its not because they think I am stupid can not tell the difference between "good and bad". Its because people have a misconception that young people are more approachable and willing to listen, I make that mistake to because i have been around others who make those assumptions and the attitude gets transferred without my awareness. I think you are assuming too much about peoples intentions.
@lisapisa1980 its not bad thing to be told you look young. Its not bad when someone cares about you and tries to protect you. If people are telling you to stay off yt then that is a different story. But all together, just getting more advice because of a youthful appearance is not a bad thing. We should all be so lucky.
I can feel your pain in this vlog! You tell them 23 is old enough to have a baby. It is a womans age in Islam. You feel me! Stay strong!
