  • ya need some gas there bro. doesnt really sound like a v6 to whoever said that, way to pure of a sound. sounds like pure sex

  • Changed the brake pads on all four wheels this weekend and the pad sensors (stupid light still on though, saying "check brake linings", guess I need to reset something in the ECU?). Earlier in the week I replaced EVERY wearing part of the front and most of the rear suspension, holy shit, for way less than $1k it feels 15 years newer! Next up is full injector pull and cleaning, maybe new extrude honed manifolds at same time?

  • @MicahShoemaker nice so what happened to your airplane plans bro lol?

  • @supra1722 Bought it, 1977 Cessna 150M, only 6 hours on motor and prop. Now to sell some cars! Need to come up with final payment of $20k in three months. I also need to spend close to $6k to get licensed. Got my student license a few weeks back and passed all medical, and they test a lot! Interesting, got best vision score the eye doctor portion of the test said he has ever seen. For a guy who lost total sight at 13 years of age in welding accident in 1 eye this amazes me!

  • @MicahShoemaker oh wow, nice find... but how will you go about your daily needs without a car? wow intersting... btw, im still interested in your BMW ;)

  • I have 4 cars, three motorcycles and a scooter...in addition 6 works trucks, things will be fine till I find that right E36 M3 and do the Euro ITB motor swap! I have always wanted a 300ZX TT also, and they are cheap as they are going to get already for nice to stock examples!

  • @MicahShoemaker nice, and yea, the engine on the American model with 40 less hp made me mad.. but watch out for the reliability on those 300ZX TT's k :)

  • @supra1722 $6k takes the V12 BTW, if you want it let me know!

  • @MicahShoemaker i'm really interested... have you got the rear heated and adjustable seats? and how is the engine's history?

  • @supra1722 Sorry for slow response, got called to the EU on business. Yes on the seats. I bought the car with 101k miles on it so only that portion of the history do I know. I have not had any BMW certified major services but oil is changed every 4-5k miles with synthetic (whatever is on sale) in the 10w40 range with new filter, caps, rotors, plugs and such are all very recent. Intake filters recent too. Consumes about 1/2 quart of coolant per oil change as well.

  • @supra1722 No major motor issues that I know of, but you never really KNOW. Tranny oil and filter recent (5k miles back), a/c works, heat works but poorly. Let me know.

  • @supra1722 Sorry, also, ALL new wearing parts in front suspension and rear a-arm bushing/bearings. This made a HUGE difference in stability and handling, was very impressed with results. Alignment also done in last 1k miles. Daily driver for me so reliable is good and car has been good to me so far!

  • Need a driveshaft

  • Wow,sounds alot like a 24v v6,that thing must be a heavy beast,it seems slow for a v12,just sayin....

  • @KJBPSkipper It does weigh in at 4800lbs with 28 gallons of fuel on board, it is not a sports car or even a semi lightweight car. It is just used for long highway trips and storm chasing. Maybe one of these days I will re-shoot the video at a place with less gravel and better mic location. It really does sound good to my ears!

  • @MicahShoemaker I neber said it sounded bad,just not what I expected from a v12.

  • All good, I was only implying that I know the audio quality sucks and really wanted it better, so I bought a couple of special mics and extension cords for the 3.5mm input/output sides so I could place them in various locations to try to get the best possible audio, they were stolen out of my unlocked NSX two days before I shot this video...awesome huh...

  • @MicahShoemaker Thats why I own alot of guns and amo,I will shoot you dead and forget the questions if you come on my property.I was listenimg to this clip agian while I wrote this,it is pretty beefy sounding, with the better audio it will kick ass, peace.

  • @KJBPSkipper In the ultimate irony you posted this after my interesting night last night, I was smoking on back deck, see teens with flashlights crawling through my friggin yard...then one says, just go for the NSX! Go time, grabbed the HK and made sure they will never, ever, consider trying to steal off my property again. No morons were harmed in the making of last evening. I love few material things but my HK's and my cars, you dont f#ck with those!

  • @MicahShoemaker No shit! Ha,I hear you,my wife, kids, cars, and guns are the only things that really matter, mess with those and you will have something just short of the wrath of god to deal with, later.

  • @KJBPSkipper You expect a limo with a 5L engine that is not only heavy itself but has things such as double windows which make it even more heavy to accelerate from 0-60 as quick as a M5 ? think before making a coment

  • @dawid171294 Look...i am so sorry you did not like my response......the guy who posted this did not take it wrong..I cannot figure out how you did? Don't pop a vien or anything,it will be alright..damn.

  • I heard more road gravel noise than the exhaust :(

  • It would be rather pretentious to describe it any other way I think. I was acting like a little kid with the tires spinning and camera going...some of us refuse to grow up even though after the better part of four decades on this planet I should really know better!

  • "A cheese-dick follow up" LMAO

  • It needs too many petrol don't it ?

  • @WehrmachtSS1 no..

  • Nice effort, but my opinion is that you should go with a "rumblier" muffler. Glasspacks remove the bass tones and leave the mid and high pitch tones. Try switching to maybe a flowmaster and it would be incredible. Flowmasters on american V8 are exageration because of the engine's nature, but on equilibrated german V12's it's a perfect mariage. Looking forward to post some vids of my S600 ith flowmasters shortly to show the result

  • I think I am getting pretty close to straight pipes, on V12's they sound so friggin good, but I am keeping the cats which are going to be the only "silencers" in the exhaust system. Keep me posted on the S600 project, I have been seriously looking at several S600TT and SL600TT's lately, other than the lack of proper V12 sound that is one hell of a motor!

  • @MicahShoemaker

Yeah well I know what you mean if you appreciate the sound of the V12 you're on the right way.. you're next step would be good headers and an x-pipe.. but in my opinion I don't see it's a good fit to have that smooth v12ish sound on a german saloon.. i'll leave that to Ferraris.. I'd rather have it sound like an S65/SL65/CL65 raging roar that's why i'd go with a flowmaster..i'll keep updating as I progress

  • It is fun to play with this car, my heart will not break when it finally does, at this point the car was close to free since I spent so little money keeping it going and most of the mods are damn near free too, next up, Snow Performance water/methanol injection system, just waiting on two more jets and some hose and a t fitting to make that happen. On the Land Speed bike I race the water/methanol system is good for about 7-9% gains, plenty enough to try out on the BMW. Keep us posted

  • @MicahShoemaker r u thinking about selling ur 750? cuz im a serious 750il fan... :)

  • Actually yes, everything is for sale, my NSX and 328i as well, it is time for an airplane for me, no sky cops, no sky speed limits!

  • @MicahShoemaker wow man i love nsx too... ive already got a 2004 325 28k miles so im good... btw what year is the nsx? lol airplane....

  • @supra1722 1992 Year Model....165k miles now...will not die....it is a Honda after all I guess

  • @supra1722 The NSX is a 1992 year model (583rd built, 1990 late production date) with now 165k miles, it just wont die! Compression test last service showed a max of 4psi deviation between any two of the 6 cylinders...damn good car but I really am airplane shopping, the only speed limit you have in those is the one where you get out of the control envelope of the airframe! 190mph at 9-13 gallons per hour...not bad!

  • @MicahShoemaker cool man lol i thought u were joking about the airplane part.... btw im just curious how will u do daily errands? lol yes honda never die...toyotas too... how many miles does the bmw have? is it in good condition? what options does it have? sorry for overload of questions and thanks for reply :)

  • @supra1722 1996 year model, 137k miles, uses no measurable oil, about 6-8 ounces of coolant every 5k miles. Interior is pretty good actually, the Stereo needs some help though, CD changer works fine but Radio tuner portion sucks and bass is pretty weak and crackly. No nav, I have a map for that. Exterior condition is about the same as in the pics on the video, probably 90% of new, few dings and chips in paint. Commuting is no issue really, got an e320 CDI a year back.

  • @MicahShoemaker oh cool does it have heated and adjustable rear seats? does it have the comfort, sports or coutour seats in the front? just my desirable options and sorry once again for overload of questions... :)

  • @supra1722 You can kill a honda real quik, specially the sohc vtec ones, since the mid 90's honda uses tiny little radiators, and their engines aren't balanced very well. The overpriced honda's are a little better like the k20 but they should be. Toyota went down the tubes believe me my 01' celica goes through over a quart a week and has terrible rust issues, jus a matter of time before I g2 redisgn and rebuild the whole engine myself.

  • Very nice car and very nice road!! where it is?

  • great car !!! is perfect .

  • That poor thrashed 750! Meant to be serenely and beautifully driven not used like an M3... tut tut...

  • @thenumbersgallery I know, and the best part is that someone lost $100k in depreciation to make all this possible. I am definitely not "new car buyer" material since my taste is considerably better than my budget!

  • Obviously Tony here KNOWS the sound of a good running well tuned engine better than I. Think I need to go pick me up one of those Corollas!

  • @TonyTheTiger1516

I think you need mental help...

M73B54 is one of the best engine ever made!!!

  • @TonyTheTiger1516 lol my ass 97 corolla do u know anything about cars my friend?

  • @Hoveegsauseeg I never deleted that comment because it was so friggin' awesome and insightful!

  • @Hoveegsauseeg enough to know that this car is a heavy slow piece of shit that jews like only cause its a beemer. Although it has a V12 its not a nice one and this car is not fun or sporty at all no matter how much you want it to be.

  • @TonyTheTiger1516 , your corolla against my 750il any day in the court of public opinion or any track with turns. The only contest I fear would be one of hyper-miling! BTW, if this is not your speed the first gen of twin turbo V12 Benz S class cars are not in the 15-25k price range...been thinking...

  • @TonyTheTiger1516 ahahahaahahaha. Good troll mate. :)

  • cameramen suck

  • The cameraman was in 2nd grade when he shot this video...his newer lightning photography shots are getting better...give him time!

  • Nice I storamchase with 750 too, you should look into importing a diesel e38 if you like e38's

  • I would love to get one of the V12 TDI/CDI type Big Bruiser Merc's or BMW but importing successfully is tough. I am a motorcycle dealer and we do some imports and if you do it to the letter it is time consuming and expensive. The E38 is one hell of a tough car, it makes me feel pretty safe punching into a 2" hail core or whatever the wind may toss at me! I am trying to get a 97' TD Benz right now to totally gut into a chase machine that gets even better fuel mileage.

  • @StephstersShorts Ironically it is for sale right now, $4500USD cash and you are driving it home!

  • @MicahShoemaker Why you sell?, I remember you saying your wife drives this in your posts...... to much car for her eh?

  • Converting most of my fleet to diesel, got an 06' e320 CDI, working on another Benz TD and a Jeep CRD now. They respond SO FRIGGIN' well to light mods and get amazing power & fuel economy. I still have a few more cars to sell, a 328i and an NSX if you know anyone? The V12 has been my storm chasing car for a year now and it is EXCELLENT for this but will covert on of the Benz Diesels over to chase duty soon!

  • i like your car, very nice. and the landscape is impressive, where is this?

  • This was shot in between Startzville, Texas and Spring Branch, Texas in a subdivision where all street were paved...but no houses were ever built. It is an amazing place and totally deserted. I found it while out fossil hunting.

  • hp? torque? im thinking about buying a 1980-1988 7 series beemer and swapping in a v12.

  • I assume a little over 400 ft/lbs. The car in this video can be yours for $4500, located in Texas.

  • serrible sound buddy, my v6 commodore sounds better than that =S

  • I also have a pretty hot/well tuned V6 in my Honda NSX that revs to 8400 rpm. I sounds like shit compared to the BMW 12 cyl engine but probably makes about the same power in the end, at least it is faster in a 2700lbs wet chassis!

  • I prefer the Original Muff Sound. The Way a bmw is meant to sound. Quite when it needs to be but with its specific roar when you push the hell out of it.

  • Mine was just dead quiet whether the throttles were heavily loaded or not, there was no way I could really hear the engine and with a V12 I really like the sound of the engine!

  • HAHA you almost ran out of gas that day didn`t you? at 2:02 you can see that lol. nice car btw.

  • i like the intake idea but the exhaust sounds horrible

  • оператор пиздец конечно снимает

  • love that sound!

  • kinda sounds like a porsche actually

  • can you pls let me no when you do i will like to make my kit car sound like this will you help me

  • What kind of kit car?

  • I have always wanted to do a 6 dual throat carbed, M70 in a Cobra kit car....that would sound sooo sweet!

  • that sounds so different now

  • Will do some better vids when I get the time, top speed runs and full throttle acceleration runs are where the car shines, I also need to get a few people together to make a proper video with side by side roll ons and such.

  • ah man im in love !

it sounds amazing ! im guessing its auto ?? because the changes are so smooth ! and i no from driving a bmw 525 24V

    :D

    take care man

  • Yes! Thanks for finally putting this one up! It sounds so orgasmic haha!

Don't you just love how smooth the bmw 5 and 7 series are but if you want you can throw em around like a big, wafting aeroplane around corners!?

I really wanna get back in the 520i but I ra-er-cant afford it fuel wise at the moment haha!

  • You're such a kid...

  • I know, all the maturity of my camera man! BTW, he had the time of his life filming this stupid shit, the look on his face was worth every penny of rubber shredded off the tires!

  • nice, looks like you had fun today
