Protest In Vancouver 2010- Agent Provocateurs

Agent Provocateurs= Bullshit excuse. If a few people at the water park scream "go rape that girl", do you comply? No, because it's wrong. Saying police planted undercover-protesters to "incite criminal activity" does nothing, and makes absolutely no sense. Why, so we can arrest a few of perps for criminal mischief? They are back on the street within hours, with nothing more than a slap on the wrist. Grow the fuck up and take some responsibility. Rioters do not need any help being criminals

Anarchism was an idealogy set up by Eureopean governments to be able to be used as an excuse to disperse any protest and any crowd by violent means. There is no such thing as anarchism. The government is using that excuse to keep us from challenging them. Open your eyes. You really think the protesters were anarchists? They were paid provacatuers and anyone can see that. Open your eyes.

@turboredcart A lot of them are upset at the costs of the Olympics when there is a serious issue of poverty in Vancouver, a lot of Gentrification occured in preparing for the Olympics, the rest are just cointelpro anarchists.

7 Years ago, when VanOC and our politicians pitched us the Olympics, they projected overall costs somewhere about 1.2Billion (including 125million on security), and only 60% of us said Yes. Since then, costs have risen to Over 6 Billion (1B on security alone). Not only that, but muzzling legislation has been passed, promising fines and jail time to anybody in the Greater Vancouver Area who displays anti-Olympics signage in their windows, on their property ETC. Protest seems reasonable.

Exactly. So the Olympics represent alot more here than an extravagant waste of public funds... though that is the most tangible problem. I think protests are important here as an exercise in free speech, if nothing else.
