  • how do we smoke it

  • LOL i can see your face in the bowl!!!!! :D

  • Love it:) one question.. can you use this as a scrub? please answer back<3

  • did that help with his eczema. my nephew has got eczema really bad all over his body and there is nothing we can do to help him..

  • @Kombatkittie No, nothing but his medicine helps with his eczema. I only mentioned that I added in his bath wash so that he could take a bubble bath w/o having all the chemicals touching his body.

  • What a wonderful gift idea and I wouldn't mind making some for myself! ;) Thanks so much for posting this!!

  • @AlrauneX you'rewelcome :)

  • I have it too, and the Gold Bond Body lotion, Mary Kay Emollient Cream work for my skin better than prescription meds.

  • @LUVJONZ99 thanks for those suggestions! :)

  • @CookingAndCrafting Thanks, live to share the info.........

  • Great tutorial!

For your nephew who has eczema try getting him CeraVe moisturizing cream. I have eczema and that cream has helped me so much. I love it! I got mine at Rite Aid but if you get it try the get the one in the white tub and not in the tube. The stuff in the tub is thicker and I think works better! Hope it helps!

  • @oogaboogabiggading1 thanks for the tip! I will go look for it.

  • i love this recipe i am going to make it . can i use raspberry soap

    ?

  • @cassy1413 sure!

  • Hello,

Sorry to hear about your nephews problem. This WILL help if you pass him the like. That is if he is old enough to play with the tools to make the product

    How-to-make-a-Pocket-Sized-Colloidal-Silver-Genera

Nice recipe. Will make some one day.

    Happy New Year

  • Love it !

  • @TheSodapep glad you liked it :)

  • Thank you so much! :)

  • @OfficialNinjaCookie you're welcome!

  • So cute! thanks a bunch, i'm gonna make it! :)

  • @coreyfeldman99 Hope you like it!

  • Not sure what I did wrong. I used all raspberry zinger tea bags and it didn't turn pink it turned green so I added red food color which I prefer not to. Next time I think I will just use Dr. Bronners rose castile soap and leave it white.

  • @b991228 weird.

I hope it ended up okay in the end.

  • @b991228 I tried this recipe and used Dr. Bonners castile soap I didn't get the pink color but it came out very sticky for some reason I don't know what I did wrong. Did you try it? What happened? Thanks

  • It's beautiful. Thank you <3

  • @irock1101 aw thank you and you are welcome

  • I'm making this for my mom now :)

  • @safalafagus I hope your mom enjoys it!

  • Thanks so much for your videos.

  • @mrssheshe69 You are so welcome :)

  • I love it

  • @Stertje1979 Thanks!

  • @CookingAndCrafting

I just made it today but with different teas: rasperry-pome granate, kiwi-grapefruit and a mix from spices and roses.... as soap I just use some biorganic (watermelon-grapefruit) soap that I had at home and that was delicious! tomorrow mornig I'll see the ends result!!! thanks again and sorry for my not so good english!

  • @Stertje1979 oooh very nice! And your English is excellent

  • I'm making this right now for my mom for christmas! Gah is smells soooo good!

  • @Ritsukachuuu Yey! I hope that she enjoys your efforts :)

  • ok it would probably be cheaper just to buy some for me because i dont have exama but still thanks for recipe

  • @princesde100 You do not have to have eczema to make this!! I added that special soap because my nephew has it. You can add whatever soap you like

  • @CookingAndCrafting i know it is just that i don't have all that stuff at home and rather than buying all of that it is just cheaper to buy already made soap but im thinking of trying it.(seems like fun)

  • I have exama all over my body and i wanted to know do this help at all.....I have tried creams and its just oily

  • @96sandbaby This does not help eczema.

  • I made it last weak... it's reeaallyy good!!!

    Thank you!

  • @9nonaization Glad to hear it :)

  • @CookingAndCrafting Thank you and Merry Christmas!

  • is the soap nessesary ? c:

  • @toatserbananawaffle that is what creates the bubbles...so yes.

  • i have exama uhhg i hate it!, this is great!!

  • thanks for this video it looks good, i live in ohio and bath salts were banded from ohio because people were getting high off them and dying, which sux for the rest of us but i will defiantly give this a try

  • @jelylouise huh, that's nuts. No one some weirdo left me a comment that said something about getting high. I thought he had the wrong video LOL!!!

  • naww cant beleive he has eczema, i got eczema when i was 3 and it sucks :/ im now 14 and i hate it especially at this age when people start wearing perfumes and i cant :/ god bless him and hope he doesn't have to much trouble with it

  • @seddiefan4ever yeah poor little guy. He has a medication you can put on it, which helps

  • @CookingAndCrafting yeh :/ medication does help A LOT but some sting :( make sure u ask him if it feels ok and if it helps

  • It might help to add some baking soda. What you made has the consistency of sand lol

  • @CheAshBri But it was all good and that was all that mattered. It's supposed to be salts, which really, if you think about it, is just bigger pieces (much bigger) of sand. It's not a foaming bath salt, which is probably what the soda would do to it. lol

  • I love watching people make these bath stuff, even though I never try them myself..

  • @candyglazed They make lovely gifts.. you should give it a try

  • im gonna make this for my mom's birthday!

  • @PinkSparkleBunny5 Yey! She wil love it

  • Can i use sugar instead of epsom salt?

  • @TeddyBearCuteness I suppose you could, but not sure the roses will be preserved--they may discolor, stink up the stuff and die

  • great gift idea but I was wondering what it would be like to have tea grains in your tub or on your skin? I'm sure it won't hurt anything but might be messy when drying. LOL

  • Good Christmas gift idea :)

  • @o0BeadFreak0o agreed :)

  • What happens with the tea in the bath salt when you use it? Don't you get covered in these tiny bits of herbs?

  • wtf does eczema have to do with getting high? how much should i snort?

  • @skeetskeetskeeter1 Enough to overdose, hopefully.

  • couldn't u just use food coloring 4 color

  • @TheAwesomechick34 if you want to stain your porcelain tub, sure, why not.

  • This looks wonderful! Thanks for sharing!

  • @abrakadeborah Thanks :) You're welcome!~

  • i absolutely love this video! definetly gonna make this

  • @Jenicuuh I hope you do. I still have some of this left in the bathroom and the rose petals are still as beautiful and lovely as the day I brought them in from the garden

  • If you put the oil in the little measuring cup first before you measure the soap, it won't stick to the sides of the cup. :-)

  • @crystalamrita thanks.

  • it looks alot like ice cream :3

  • @AnimeluvX3 And it is niceeee :))

  • @rodgersmith1991 That sounds like a very lovely mix

  • @rodgersmith1991 Thanks

  • @rodgersmith1991 They didn't go to waste

  • @lizbrouse lol @ you. I'd hope that someone working at the magazine would actually know how to form a sentence.

  • What is the purpose of the rose petals? I want to make this but I font have a rose and I was wondering if they are important :)

  • @rainbowunicornhaha Because it's pretty and it does lend a mild scent. I don't think it is absolutely necessary, however.

  • @musswoom1234 I need to preface this answer with the fact that my grandnephew only comes over and baths once a week, so it is not used with any real consistency. That being said, he did not break out or have a recurrence and it didn't agitate his skin. I used Suave Kids free and gentle body wash, which I purchased at Walmart. That's the body soap i also use to bathe him.

  • @misscupcake1211 yep you sure can!

  • I have just "discovered" your channel and have subscribed. I am loving all of your videos!

  • @Tara2372 well thank you so much :))

  • your roses are beautiful.

  • i think im gonna make this to give as door prizes at my next get together! thanks beth!!!

  • @misscupcake1211 Thanks I do think they are beautiful as well :)

  • Epsom salts were a common remedy for aches and pains when I was a kid. A good soaking worked wonders for anything from a stubbed toe on a 5 year old to Grandma's arthritic back. It's fallen somewhat into obscurity, (probably because the pharm industry doesn't want us using things that are harmless, organic, and work), but it's still just as much a wonder worker as ever.

  • @anmoose I agree. if it has worked for ages, why isn't it pimped more often?! It's cheap, too!!

  • that was so relaxing to watch. i will have to try this for sure.

  • @eastsaintlouis62203 Awesome. let me know what you think!

  • That is just awesome and so easy to do. That makes a very nice gift. Love it.

I made a body scrub once with sugar, olive oil and added a nice fragranceto it. It was

    easy to do.

  • @justwant2bhappy It will make a beautiful gift!

  • I like... :)

  • @MISSBEBEBLUE haha me too

  • It's looks yummy. Do Epsom Salts dry the skin? I have terrible dry skin all over and especially my feet and hands. Hugs girl!

  • @imperceptibleme I did a little reading up on this and since it can sometimes cause drying of the skin, they recommend not using it more than once a week. Once a week should be fine

  • @CookingAndCrafting Thanks Beth. It looks like it would be so yummy and relaxing. Hugs!

  • I'm wondering about staining the tub because tea can leave stains in cups. Have you tried any in your bath yet?

  • @spygirl43 I haven't had a chance to try it yet. However, I usually scrub my tub down after I have taken a bath. If you do that, there shouldn't be any problems with staining. My tea cups only got stained after multiple uses and a very good scrubbing removed the stains

  • These salts must smell so good. Would the Epsom salt soothe your nephew's eczema? I have a relative with dermatitis, she uses glycerine soap a lot.

  • @ArgentineShamrock I don't know if it will soothe it. I do know that he likes bubble baths and my Lush products but that my niece said to only use "free and clear" products on him. Since this only has some natural tea and oil added, I am hoping it will not affect his skin

  • @MACwishin2 He just got the eczema in the last few months, the poor little guy. So it has been nice to find these recipes, this one and the bubble bath slices that can use the softer on the skin bath wash to make them. Still trying to find reasonably priced SLSA. My God, one place wants $7 for a pound and $11 for shipping. Seriously? lol

I love all your kids' names :)

  • can you make this and leave out the rose pettles ,i have no idea where i would get the rose pettels

  • @brawyn777 Yes, you can definitely leave the rose petals out. They are totally optional.

  • @brawyn777 try a garden shop, flowershop they sell bags and alot of supermarkets sell bags of them too if they sell fresh flowers...

  • I think I will have a go at these for my daughter and daughter in law. They could even use them for my grandson, he has problems with his skin he is part Filipino and unfortunately their skin doesnt cope too well with our harsh UK weather. They use Aquaphor and oilatum on his skin.

  • What a perfect Valentine's gift! Also I am envious of your purple measuring cups and spoons.

  • @EvilRachelable I got my purple cups from JoleneSugarbaker :))) She totally rocks

  • I drink that brand of tea and I love it! The smell is really good. :)

  • @feliciapetey Awesome. I am going to try the tea. If it tastes half as good as it smells... Yum!! Did you get the jam yet?

  • @CookingAndCrafting YES! I just had some on toast the other day and it was delicious. I'm gonna make a review vid either tonight or tomorrow. Thanks again Beth. :)

  • Sorry to hear about his eczema, my daughter has had it her whole life, had hoped she would outgrow it but it didn't happen. She's tried a wide range of things, prescription & over the counter & her best results come from the Aveeno products. The bar soap & the lotion that's specifically made for eczema work great. They also have a tube of Aveeno that is not specific to eczema, says something about poison ivy or something, but contains calamine & it works great at drying the bumps that ooze.

  • @meluv2cook I got eczema maybe 10 years ago and it went away after about 5 years. I will have to look into some of the Aveeno products but I'm guessing I can make some of that stuff as well :)

  • I use Epsom Salts a lot. I have leg pain a lot and it helps so much!! My Mom was also reading that the epsom salts can draw sickness out of your body.... Not sure if that's true but it wouldn't hurt to try!! :) I love this idea!! Using the tea is pretty cool! :)

    Emily

  • @TheCountryCook Yep, epsom salts really are pretty awesome. I used to buy this really expensive dead sea bath salts years ago. I would savor it and only use little bits because of how awesome it used to make me feel. Of course cut to years later when I found out what epsom salt actually was. I was like "dead sea my ass!" hahaha And started added just plain salt to my baths and felt the same awesome results, only about $20 cheaper HAHAHA

  • This look beautiful. What a great gift and you know Bain is going to love being in that bath that smells so good.

As a side note I've heard that dream cream from lush is really good for skin with eczema. Also something else they have one of the bath melts I think, but I can't rememeber off the top of my head.

  • @Ultimatecruegirl Thanks, I will look that one up and get some for him. I also found a skin cream at Avena Botanicals--all natural stuff that is supposed to help with eczema.

  • NIce, Beth. Yes, it looks very wet but maybe it should. It is such a pretty colour. You're right - after sitting out overnight, it looks drier.

    Very nice. - roc

  • @popparoc46 The color is awesome! I am going to give some of the purple/blue teas a try next. It dried up really nicely. Got kinda crunchy!!

  • Mmm bubbles;-)

  • @1DRock37167 I'm going to have them bubbles take me away tonight, for sure :)

  • Im gonna make this for the ladies at work, i give valentines day bags

  • @kareemtiheed what an awesome gift this would make!! I also put up a lemon sugar scrub a few days ago..give that one a try as well!

  • @CookingAndCrafting thanks i just added it to favorites...i gotta ton of stuff to make next week!

  • I am SO making some of this!! I'm not much a of a bath taker but this makes me wanna!

  • @royalschwarz Yeah, baths take dedication hahaha I wish I had more TIME to take them. Sitting, waiting for it to fill, then the bath, then draining and cleaning it out..yeah. But definitely worth it.

  • Wow, it makes me wish I had a tub. It is really hard to find unscented bath soap- so I'll look for suave next time. I just had an idea to look for pretty jars at the goodwill rather than buying new ones for things like this - recycling and maybe more fun. But I'd wash and bleach them first. The jars you chose were really nice though. The rose petals look very pretty and really take it over the top for a gift. Christmas may find some of these in some stockings.... I'm just saying.

  • @thizizliz Costco is supposed to carry unscented detergent too. Ash said she found everything there.

Jars at Goodwill sounds like a fantastic idea. I may have to find one in my area to do the same.

  • This looks lovely Beth! I would love this for sure. Thanks for sharing it with us! HUGS xo

  • @WackaDoodleFreeZone Thanks Peggy :) This one will do wonders for your body...The epsom salts will help with your muscles. I got a big bag of epsom salt at Walmart today for just under $4. probably cheaper up your way

  • My Niece had a horrible bout with eczema over the years.... seems though it's left her never to return again though. Very nice of you to make this for your Bainers!

I love the "bath salts" idea...and fun with the roses! You're the bestest Auntie B!!

    mike

  • @macaronipop Thankfully his eczema isn't that bad. Just a slight rash that never really went away. Now he has a steroidal cream to help. At least he is no longer scratching all the time. Poor little guy

  • wonderful vid. sorry about bain having skin issues....lots of little ones now seem to have that. will try this one today.....minus roses :( unless i can find some at the market... i love a bubble bath...and now it will be my choice of fragrance...will make some for my daughter too. Thanks again, beth...for the vid and the ideas.

  • @trvlbuggy Yeah, the roses aren't necessary. They just make it look pretty and to have some petals floating would be nice :) I'm glad you've enjoyed these. I have to make one or two more, maybe three haha

  • Bain has eczema? Where does he get it?

I like that we can see you in the bowl while you talk :)

The tea is such a great way to get colour and scent in a natural way!

Oh, to have the choice between two cut roses in January! Sigh.....

Another one on the favourites list for gift giving!

  • @yoyomax12 Bain's eczema is kinda all over. On his chest, his back and his legs. Thankfully it is not red and/or blistery yet. But he'd been itching for quite some time and Ash finally took him in.

I LOVED the scent of this. I am going to do a few more of these using the other teas. They smell divine.

  • how pretty!

    xoexo

  • @edenbainbridge isn't it pretty? I have to find some more pretty jars :)

  • Plez tell me it how it works. My grad daughter has the same thing. An it looks great.

  • @cheryllovesrobert Okay, I will try to remember ..not sure when Bain will be here next.

  • That looks beautiful and I can imagine smells the same. I hope the little guy likes it and it helps him.

  • @wildheart5 It was super yummy smelling. I think tonight I am going to give this a try. Ash came too early for me to give him a bath so we hadn't yet tried it.

  • loved theese videos keep them up :)

  • @bubblewrap64 Thanks :) Do you have any suggestions or something you'd like to see?

  • well this could be very interesting. wonder if i could do it is a cucumber scented epsom salt. or something to that effect.

your nephew is one lucky dude for having someone willing to make him eczema friendly bath salts.

  • @jrt31169 I used to love to use cucumber fragrance oils for my soaping. SO refreshing and yummy :)

Bain loves bathing and lately has loved my Lush items, so when Ash told me he had eczema, I was kinda bummed until I found this recipe!

  • Yea I will try this one

  • @sunsetlover sweet

  • Ok, first...I am SO jealous. Roses in the middle of winter, lol!! 2nd..I am loving your bath stuffies videos. Even though I don't have a tub, this looks so beautiful packaged and would make a great gift. You're giving me so many ideas for next Christmas! :)

  • @BigGirlSmallTown Yeah...summer all year round here, so we get to have all the pretty flowers. hehe These would make incredible gifts!

  • that looks great i can just imagine how good that smalled.

i love you flowers they looked so pretty :)

  • @MsSilvana007 The smell was incredible! I am going to have to try this tea. If it smells good, it has to taste good!
