awesome! good to see youre keeping on the case with your pictures of england!
i know this might sound stupid, but what about doing one for the area of hills and mountains that are between carlisle and scotland on the m6? its barren and wild like the highlands, with not much but the motorway and a train track to signify human existence :-P but its really quite beautiful and i reckon it deserves a tune!
A wonderful composition Paul....as always i might add.
Can i ask how you get your inspiration when writing a new piece? Do you choose to write about a particular county beforehand and use visual images to give you a feel for it, or are they simply matched according to the feeling of the piece?
Either way, it certainly gives me a warmth inside, and my own imagery of rolling countryside and hamlets bathed in spring sunshine :)
I have various ways around my inspiration, often I just play until something I like comes out, and that will usually remind me of something or soemwhere, that then gives me a little more focus. Other times, like this one, I start with the thoughts and images, and a few hours later I have something like this.
Thanks very much, I appreciate your comment and question,
Quite a beautiful picture! A lot of cool things happening in this composition Paul, like those quick little ascending scale passages, continuous bass, lovely descending passage...tremolo; i wasnt expecting that! and what great ending chords; very whimsical. I liked it when you put a photo of the place for us to see also; you did that on the beginnings of some of the others from this series.
@amccann7 You listen very carefully Amy, that pleases me. :) Unfortunately my playing isn't as good as usual at the moment due to having a cold, some of these passages should have been a lot cleaner, I'm sure you know the effect even a little bit of illness does to one's playing yourself.
The pictures were good, but I don't really want to use any unless I've them myself as it's very difficult to prove to the Adsense people I have permission.
@roadbikegarden Yes you did, but don't worry about it, I won't be using any pictures as I'd have to jump through hoops to proove to Google that I have permission.
you are a very very good guitarist my friend. Keep it up!
