I used to have this as a kid and remember that it would light up just like in the movie. It also had a missile on the very front, where the grill would be and was spring powered. I'm willing to buy it again if I find the one I had!
Teku991 is right! It is four vehicles in one, whether it is official or not. When the Batwing was shot down and crashed into Gotham Harbor, in "Batman Forever", the wings detached and it transformed into a submarine. So Teku991 is absolutly right! I never noticed this about the toy before. Thanks for pointing this out!
i got this for my tenth birthday! my dad kinda sucked but never let me down on my birthday man. it actually makes 4 vehicles as the front of the boat comes off, creating the bat-sub!
DUDE!!! I remember getting this thing for Christmas when it came out! My cousin and I got a box each. Or, now that I think about it, it was in the Batman & Robin box. Still very cool, though. Sadly, I was way too young back then to see it as anything more than a little toy, whereas if I had it now, I would take care of it. I mean, seriously, my cousin and I used the wings to smack each other in the face with. Sturdy plastic.
YES, thank you for making this video. I just had a HUGE nostalgia attack - I was five or six when Batman Forever released (way too young to realize how godawful the movie is). Regardless of how terrible the film is, I loved this toy to death, it was the favorite of my childhood! So good to see this again. Thanks for bringing back memories!
I remember buying this when I was little this was my favorite batman toy because it was all three in one. I remember bring this thing to kindergarten show and tell man all the other kids where jealous
Nice video, one suggestion only, since this is a toy review there might be kids watching(No, I'm not a whining kid or parent) so I wouldn't recomend cursing, I'm also gonna subscribe, keep up the good work!
@blhc11 I actually have I have tried to limited my swearing in the majority of my later vids. That doesn't mean that the comments section below won't be flooded with em.
@thebatnest It's design is impressive but an all black molded plastic and Flat black at that no blue accents as featured on the other forever vehicles is a real let down.
@MisfitsFiend13899 They pretty much had to sell off the TAV as it was released in 1996 and sales were not as strong (WB had already announced plans for a sequel to start production immediately) so everything Forever was stopped and production on B&R commenced. Much like they did during the transition from the Batmobile from DKC to Returns packaging so was the TAV to sell off their stockpile to keep from losing money.
@cervanno05 I haven't forgotten you. I always planned on uploading this one first as it was teased in the Batwing review. I also mentioned that I had a couple of other vehicles planned before the tumbler.
They rereleased this for batman & robin movie

You didn't mention that the inspiration for the look of all of these vehicles was the artwork of H.R. Geiger.

@pg8793 Personal preference. I say there is no Bat-sub Kenner/Hasbro also has no Bat-Sub in their instructions but if you want one that's cool.

Kenner was actually cheap enough to advertise this on TV again the following year for the B&R line. Same damn toy from the previous year.
