  • prince of persia :D

  • you are totally awesome man!!

  • where is the ninja ? I only saw a trying to brake his neck

  • Holy shit man, a totally new way to do muscle confusion. Man I am inspired to working out like this. Add me as friend and I will support you for a G4 submission. What an elite way of working out.

  • if you perfected your muscle ups you'd be freaking number one for sure man. awesome vids

  • Who is the cameraman?

  • Great video.. I watch the ninja warrior show. I will be rooting for you.

  • oh my gosh u are amazing

  • ok people i came up with a training program, and i want to know what you think about it. First of all, stretching for 20 mins 1. run 5 miles to the beach 2. run 2 miles on the beach 3. do 200 explosive push-ups 4. 400 crunchs 5. climb up a tree 100 times 6. put weights on and jump 50 times 7. 200 pull-ups 8. 30 min balance training 9. 30 minute impact training (jumping down 5 ft, 8 ft, etc... 10. 20 min tai chi and jog/walk back
  • I do that six times a day.

  • im trying eight

  • i don't sleep and that's all i do all day everyday.

  • i do it 48 hours a day through the use of time-travel

  • First of all. You cant do 200 pull ups. Just saying

  • if you spread them out throughout the training you can

  • hey i used to think i was a ninja when i was 12 too

  • Yeah, but you could never do the things he does.

  • The first stage is all about the ability to manage your weight. First trap takes out those without flexibility, log takes out those who weight too much. Trampoline takes out those without leg strength or patience. Wall takes out those without agility. Second round manages endurance and speed. 3rd round takes out those without arm strength. 4th is all about speed. What's most important is knowing your own body, gaining strength rapidly is dangerous if you don't understand it as you go.

  • this person is narcissistic and suicidal... NINJAS DO NOT EXIST! quit playing games with your life!

  • at one point they did and besides your just jealous because you want to do what he can,

  • maybe they dont exist anymore, but at least they can exist through our hearts,so FUCK YOU man, youre just jealous because you could never do what he does and he is awesome!

  • Have to work on your agility, all your flips seems a pain in the ass for you.

  • i' ve seen all your videos....good luck in japan becouse there are lots of opponents in sasuke....

  • dude this is awesome....you do stuff i thought was only possible in video games lol

  • amazing video man.good luck in japan!

  • Good luck at ninja warrior in 2009 :)

  • I you grew out a beard kept the long hair, i would believe you are jesus with strength, talent, and your courage. im anxious for your next ninja warrior vid you have my vote for G4 challange

  • Climbing that pillar is absolutely nuts. Not as crazy as Osman, but nuts nonetheless. I'll be voting for you man, much respect for your dedication and passion and I hope that one day I'll be fit enough to compete but that day is a long while away.

  • You have made some significant progress from the first videos to this one. Looks as if you are working really hard towards your goal. I wish I had some good advice to give towards the actual course, yet you are doing a good job with your current training. Keep it up, and keep the positive attitude. Good Luck

  • I thought that ninjas are assasins : DDD

  • 2:12 is cool

  • Great stuff!

  • Awsome pinch grip.

  • Amazing

  • don't bother about all these nagative comments that your getting.. all these feats tt you've been doing will get you far enough, and i'm sure you're smart enough to identify the kind of obstacles that you need to work on.. pillar climbing was AMAZING, no fear of falling whatsoever, i probably wouldn't attempt that haha!

one question: do you do one arm chins/pull-ups everyday? if so are you getting elbow injuries? I'm thinking of doing it regularly throughout the day would u recommend it?

  • Im really loving your vids, but just been busy trying to comment. Anyways your one of the strongest ninjas ive seen come, haha you came out of no where lol. Keep it up man and dont wory i believe youll get to sasuke pretty soon :)

  • Thank you for that. Just remember, when I submit my G4 entry video this winter, I'm counting on the support from people such as yourself to vote for me and get me to Sasuke 22. I can't do it without you. Thanks again.

  • Here are some more:

    - more static abdominals work like planks for the bridge walking

    - add in sprints

That is all I can think of right now. Looking good.

  • A few potential suggestions:

    - More flexibility for the double wall walking

    - Strengthen your abductors for the wall walking with X-band walks and sumo squats/deadlifts

    - throw thick gloves on for your rope climbing to increase difficulty and intensity

    - do more open hand grip exercises like plate pinch and blockweights

    - train on a mini-tramp to learn how to hit it rigid and not lose force

  • All the luck to you bro!

  • your good but... you need to work on it, try not to show so much stugle when doing your exersises on video.. but i would say ya have a shot, really work on the agility strength isnt everything

  • You're right, strength isn't everything ON Stage 1 and Stage 2. However, Stages 3 and 4 are NOTHING but upper body strength, and a lot of it. I believe that if anyone has any hopes of achieving TOTAL VICTORY, you need to be unbelievably strong--just like Makoto Nagano. Thanks.

  • You're wrong. Both champions of the past relied on their lower body as well as their upper body when climbing the final rope.

    Do your homework, buddy. ;)

  • Do my homework, huh? Okay, fair enough. I say we should have ourselves a little friendly contest. Since we're both trying out for Ninja Warrior, you won't mind when I get there before you and win the whole thing, right?

  • Good luck. ;)

  • The fastest rope climbers in the world don't use their legs. Neither does Takeda, at least while training.

  • Love this video!

    Got my vote.

  • That is just crazy Jake. You are incredible! loved your video, just PLEASE don't fall!

  • I am so impressed by you! I have no doubt you'll go far in Sasuke, and that you'll make it. GO GO GO!!

  • good improvements.

    best of lucks

  • Amazing job keep it up and stage 4 is yours Bryan Legge

  • SO awesome to see someone who pushes past the limits. Your training is going to turn you into a saiyan. That waterfall structure is an amazing find for climbing.

I know you're busy, but I can't wait to see any speed runs you have set up that don't involve strictly (impressive!) climbing. Maybe an obstacle course that involves running, jumping, crawling, climbing, etc.? I think you said something about parkour; can't wait for that one!

    Keep up the great work!

  • dude, your fearless part, at first i was like is he on a building? then i realized it was a bridge fu*king high in the sky damn!!1

  • Actually, you were right the first time. I was hanging from a building at the University of Utah.

  • damn, well still! you are a ninja, and your going to dominate at that competition.

  • WOW! That's just sick! Jake, you ARE a ninja. The fearless part freaked me out. I cant wait to watch how you do in the Ninja challenge. The best of luck to you.

  • Thanks, japgen! It's the awesome support I get from people like yourself that urges me to continue on.

  • sweet man. You got my vote! :)
