  • The reason why people buy it is because it uses no electricity but the AR15 gun uses some kind of electric.

  • man that something rambo would have

  • can i put an m203 undermounted 40mm grenade launcher

  • wth? you know cross bow are no tactical weapon compared to rifle and gun. It is a superior hunting weapon though...b/c the arrow are reusable.

Loading time for cross bow are too slow compared to firearms....re-usability of arrows in combat are virtually zero.

  • Who is gonna pay 1200 bux for this thing?? Answer....no one

  • haha Zombie killers unite lol

  • it's imposing, but I would chose M4 insteand of

  • I love the chainsaw!

  • nice toy! i want one, or two!!!!!

  • experience the thrill of hitting the same hole every time. Haha. classic

  • Such a beauty, I bet it costs mutch

  • This is the coolest crossbow EVER!!

  • hoghunterdiva is a kidi fidler

  • nice bow

  • Pretty amazing but completly useless!

  • makes me kinda sad that pse made something like this....like they tured a hunting tool and a target tool into something i cant see a porpuse for...i guess its for the ppl that have too much money for ther own good.

  • @Bowhunter82393 ......Home defense maybe? The intruder would not necessarily die, but would certainly surrender! Remember some people still dont want to kill an intruder (I have no such problems tho).

  • Very cool, I wants one :-)

  • is this a joke?

  • haha perfect for ccw under a trachcoat in shitholes like New Jersy and Illinois

  • thats cool but how am i supposed to buy it without a firarms licence I would need to get my hands on the AR 15 lower receiver? Especially since here in Canada you need a RESTRICTED posession acquisition licence , which is harder to get and takes 2 days of class and 2 tests, just to get that AR 15 lower plus i would pay for the receiver just to be able to use the stopid crossbow? WAY too much time and effort for me to consider it worthwhile in the end. I would rather the rifle...

  • Over to the right, in the description we provided a link to the updated video, which will show the TAC15i and TAC10i which don't use any lower receiver and are legal in Canada. The title of this video is "Old TAC 15 Video". We only left it here because people loved the chainsaw bit. :)

  • do you need a license in canada for a crossbow? you can buy them at any surplus? anybody know

  • @ganjaking187 Call Porcupine Creek at 403-237-0007 and dial Bob at extension 5. I think it depends on which Province you're in. They would definitely know for sure.

    ~PSEVideo

  • thx man already found out its perfectly legal im going turkey hunting lmfao

  • @ganjaking187 in ont you don't need a licence to own a bow of any kind.

  • lol chainsaw attachment.

but seriously, why would something so retarded as this on the market? if you want stealth you're better off with a silenced .22lr rifle with subsonic ammo.

  • It's not retarded if you want to use it for an archery season, or just for fun. The type of things you would use a supressed .22 on are not the same type of things you would use a bow of any sort on.

  • crossbow . mlap . hu

  • wow i like the chainsaw..

    incase of zombies or vampires

  • crossbow mlap hu

    Nice this crossbow

  • nice crossbow

  • 412 ft/second

stay out of the cross hair

  • Funny how some of you think crossbows are slient. wrong crossbows are quite noisy. sure the arrow flys rather quietly but so does a bullet. you have to shoot crossbows at close range at game so they don't run off when you fire them because the bolt is subsonic. a normal Bow is a lot quieter than a crossbow.

  • Any thing with a moving mechanism will have sound to it. As for close game with a crossbow. I have taken white tail deer at 120+- yards with my crossbow which is about the same range as a reg bow and even rifle hunters prefer to be in that 100-150 yard range.

  • lol i love how they add the acceccories at the end...aaahhh..

  • how much this crossbow cost?

  • Sniper crossbow!

  • my uncle just bought this crossbow

  • @msagrera you mean he just ordered it ther are not in stores till march 1 so yeah he didnt buy he pre-ordered it

  • experience the trill of hitting the same hole everytime....hehehe. Feel like making love...man I love it!!!!

  • experience the trill of hitting the same hole everytime.....hehehe. Feel like making love....man love it!!!!

  • That is just SO FUCKING COOL, I don't give a shit if it's less powerful than the standard firearm, goddamn silent crossbow with a grenade launcher? Somebody please put this thing in a game for me.

  • Perfect Dark For Nintendo64 - 1999

  • experience the trill of hitting the same hole everytime.....hehehe. feel like making love....man I love it!!!!

  • DUMB! Ok, good crossbow, but its built on an m16/m4 lower reciever? Meaning you replace the barrel of a gun for a crossbow? When will gun/crossbow designers learn to just undersling the silly crossbow to the m16/m4's already equipped rail system, thus magically you have two weapons..

  • the best crossbow...

    My dream

  • What is the max range on this?

  • how much is it and where can i get a lower ar 15 receiver?

  • lol.. chainsaw

  • you know what suprises me, that this wasn't in any movies I know of, i mean yeah it's pointless maybe to your professional's, but movie professionals and videogame professional's could beef this thing up.. I mean the thing at end just was like yeah, a grenade launching X-bow, you weren't expecting that were you!!!! lol kinda made me laugh maniacally.

  • Does anybody know why PSE doesnt make 80lb limbs for 28dl X-force OMEN

     they have 80lb limbs for 26 29 30 omens but not 27 or 28?????

  • accuracy power and silencius ....

  • lol, 415 fps. I have airsoft guns that can shoot faster. Basicaly, you can dodge it, so long range is gone.

  • are you stupid or what? 6mm 0.25grams round bb loses most of its energy when it comes out of barrel, that arrow is going that fast(415fps) after 100m and its silent so you wont hear it before it hits you. its a allmost perfect stealth weapon for short&midranges.

  • yeah, a .12 grain projectile is going to be more effective than a 415 grain projectile.

  • u mainly want ft pounds when it comes to bows

  • the arrow keeps its momentum over long distances so your bb may go faster for the first 50 feet, but after that its useless.

  • This is Special Ops shit. Crossbows are completely silent. They can't dodge it if they don't know it's there.

  • So is a silenced weapon.

  • you are so retarded its not even funyy.

  • who cares. it looks cool and all but its very pointless. it takes longer to load, the projectiles travel slower than bullets, and if you want stealth, go with a scilencer. plus, its less accurate.

  • i'm in love with this baby :)

  • oh yes cuz i'm going to bring a cossbow to a gun fight or to take out someone thats got hostages...

    what a waste of time...

  • Yea, and you wont know it's hit till it hits you like a train, AND YOUR DEAD MAN!

Ohh were did that come from?????????

  • cool, chain saw just like that game for xbox.

  • you mean gears of war?

  • I WANT A RAIL MOUNTED CHAINSAW!!! ya know... just in case :D

  • lol chainsaw

  • base crossbow on M4 gun

    nice ;]

  • If they really wanted to sell it to the millitry they should make to fit on there guns they already have! Plus this stupid guys voice is grating on my merves and why would you put a stupid chainsaw on it anyways. So gay! NEbody that want would 1 of these midle ages wepons is a fag and gay.

  • Uhhh.....in case you took the time to WATCH THE VIDEO YOU ARE COMMENTING ON the crossbow fits on an AR15, which is the current ASSAULT RIFLE OF CHOICE in the US MILITARY.

  • No you IDIOT, the millitary use m16 and are full auto. Why would miltart use semi automatics when the other countrys have fully ones! They woud get slqughtered. besides all millitary guns start with a M.

Know ur facts before you come bringin that smack bro

  • Vietnam era M16A1 was full auto.

Current issue M16A4 has 3 round burst instead of full auto.

Full auto is currently considered absolete because full auto is provided by the Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW)

  • You should know your facts before flaming someone. The M16A1 is semi, 3 round burst, or auto. In the real world, with real wars, and real people dying, spraying a magazine is not how its done. Single shot, and 3 round bursts are more commonly used due to accuracy.

  • only guns in the states start with the letter M. dont be so narrow-minded

  • does it go through metal

  • the head looks really heavy , so it will be hard to keep it fixed

  • hubahubahuba kwijl

  • so where can i find the attachment shown at 5:30

  • i want that chainsaw attachment!! XD

  • probably good for night ops & stealth missions within the forces....

  • why does this commercial treat it like its a weapon to use in a game

  • well...for an industry in which the world invests more than all the rest put together, i figure it's for attracting buyers.

  • ol love the chainsaw attackment at the end

  • This is the future of firearms in CA. Ammo will be too expensive and restrictive, so back to the future we go.....

  • nope. This uses the AR-15 lower reciever, so that immediately rules it out for use in california

  • I'd rather stick with my long bow because I don't have to crank it to reload.

  • At one point in the video it says "... pounds of energy...". Since when has force = energy?

  • It actually says pounds of KINETIC energy. Which can be measured with the proper equation. Also, energy=force not the other way around.

  • a ft-lb is roughly 1.3 joules of energy.

  • someday you'll be able to pick oneof these up at a garage sale, or in a goodwill.

  • Damn cool idea. Problem is $1299.00 plus another $250.00 for the lower (also must come from an f.f.l. holder) and you can buy two Excaliburs. The thing looks like it will do the job though.

  • Agreed. I wander if it'll fit my AR-10/RRA lower? Probably not. What do you think about the Horton's Legend HD Pro 175 Crossbow?

  • would be beter than those wussy little .223 shells anything in that cal. is a damn pea shooter!!! a horible weapon our troops have been stuck with for too long now. but, the crossbows cool.

  • I know. Why can't we go back to the m-14?

  • a 62 grain peice of lead traveling at mach 2.5 is hardly a pea shooter... what would you have them carry?

  • this wont be great success. jus becoz its to expensive, too advance.

  • wow. i saw this in personal defense magazine, so i searched it and wow. this is really kool, just really expensive,

    ( $1,200 )

  • whos ready for the zombie apocalypse!!

  • Is there a kit to convert my crossbow into an assault rifle?

  • i laughed at the chainsaw

  • LOL - now if they only made a silent chainsaw.

  • I think I'm in love.

  • Any chance they'll drop under 1.3k? LOL

  • Hoooo !!! I understood. This is an AR 15 mutant. Very crazy. But...it is beautiful

  • Does it qualify for Pope and Young scoring?

  • Freaking special forces!!! awesome now i want one!!!

  • You know what else is really powerful that you can attach to an AR lower receiver? An AR upper receiver.

  • I'll take 2!! :D

  • Dear God! That's fricken epic! I want one!

  • If only they would allow crossbows to be used for regular hunting in my state. I don't understand the discrimination against crossbows. It is rediculous.

  • need one for the Sig 556

  • "You know. For kids!"

    ~Norville Barnes

  • perfect

  • Wait... A crossbow with chainswaw bayonet?

  • haha, the chainsaw was the best part

  • What the HELL are you supposed to do with a crossbow on the modern battlefield? Didn't we learn anything from the battle of Agincourt? They didn't even work THEN!

  • Actually, the problem the French had at the battle of Agincourt was that they didn't place their bows and crossbows in front of the men-at-arms. Chronicler Jehan de Waurin (who was there that day) says, "Four thousand of their best crossbow men who ought to have marched in the front and begun the attack were found to not be at their post and it seems that they had been given permission to depart by the lords of the army on the pretext that they had no need of their help."

  • You'd be surprised there are still some special forces commandos that use them because they are quieter then handguns with silencers. Its said that Serbian forces used them in ambushes and as a counter-sniper weapon, against the Kosovo Liberation Army during the Kosovo War.

  • They are still used in some commando situations around the world because they are harder to hear, Special designed weapons were used by the US in the Vietnam war, and used as ambush and counter sniper weapons durning the Kosovo War by the Serbs.

  • The decible level of a crossbow shot(anything over 175lbs of pull) rivals or exceeds that of a suppressed MP-5. I think I would want to counter snipe with something that had a more effective range..silenced or not.

  • Omfg that was the best created advertisement I've ever seen.

  • i think im in love

  • ssoooooooo badaaaaass!!!!

  • I want one

  • hahahaha dear santa xD

  • thats cool and all but can i mount a chainsaw on it??

  • Dear Santa...

  • can't have a crossbow without a chainsaw attached.

  • I love it! The only problem is they want $1,200 for it. You might as well go buy a nice Kimber 1911 for that price. I do think the price will come down eventually once the market decides a fair price.

  • I know what I'll be using to take out those Vampires....

They won't know what hit them...Now I need silver arrows!

  • you mean wood arrows right?

Silver arrows would be for werewolves :P

  • I like the chainsaw idea

  • I'll take one with an M203.

  • It is the king of crossbow

    Respect

  • I WANT 1

  • I will go medieval on your asses with this!

  • Its just a shame that they wont let you buy AR-15 lower recievers in the UK. Otherwise I would definitely get one of these.

(Already have a choice of chainsaws).

The government here sh*t themselves at the mere thought of the word "gun". Just wanting one of these here is probably enough to put you in jail.

  • Wen zombies come... Ill want this.

  • If i buy this that means i can get an ar15 upper and use it as a .223 to ?

  • Does it fire Chainsaws?

  • We are taking this to engineering immediately!

The original model fired employees. We obviously had problems with that model and decided to upgrade to swiss army knife. But we found that it took too long for shooters to decide between the corkscrew, safety scissors, or knife. We wanted to upgrade to light saber, but George Lucas wouldn't sell us one... so we went with the obvious choice after light sabers, which is the next best thing; your everyday assault chainsaw.

  • damn that's hilarious ! :D

  • lol

  • There's nothing like xbow with chainsaw ! :)

  • i have fallen in love!!!

  • That's so cool. I want one!

  • It's all about stealth...

  • Gotta love that chainsaw bit! XD

...I bet that chainsaw would be able to mount to the M16 as well. That'd be badass.

  • its beautifull the chainsaw just adds that sexxy ness to it I think i am in love

  • The ultamate stealthy zombie hunter tool.

  • it costs $1300

    FIGURES!!

  • it wont be a great success, cause it's too advanced

  • loled at the chainsaw bit xD

  • .223's can't punch through Kevlar. A crossbow's bolt can. Plus, it's silent.

  • lol did it said chain saw wtf? o.0

  • imagine having one of these during the medival ages lol

  • Yeah no doubt, I would rather have a rifle than this!

  • what a piece of junk! the just took a vertical bow, beefed the crap outof it and then mounted it on a ar15 reciever! It fires arrows, not bolts fer cryin out loud!

  • It's an awesome bow we can all agree on that, but the price is a bit too much and keep in mind that the price ($1299) doesn't include the lower receiver and scope.. dissapointing.

  • I agree. I would rather own the Stryker crossbow instead of this.

  • I kinda thought the same thing, but the axle to axle was what has made my mind up! a lower receiver isn't that expensive. Besides the Stryker is atleast $1400.

  • PSE is and will continue to be an expensive company, (albeit a great one) and you're right. That lower receiver is $275 at it's cheapest.

  • That's just amazing.

  • This thing could kill Chuck Norris

  • nothing can kill chuck! it would just give him an itch

  • Bruce Lee killed Chuck.

  • nah but seriously....have you seen this thing? this could kill satan.

  • Evil genius invented this. S.O.B.!

  • I feel like between this and my special boots that let me climb walls, I'm pretty much set.

  • The chainsaw sold me on this. MOAR!

  • Even THINKING about this crossbow is a federal crime in California, New York City, Chicago and the District of Columbia

  • I want one with the chainsaw attachment for the coming zombie apocalypse.

  • "Assault Crossbow" HAHAHAHAHAH OH WOW

  • That can't be cheap. Especially when you have to buy the stock separately. I wonder If I could use this at the archery range.

  • $1299

  • What? Chainsaw attachment? Apocalypse, here I come!

  • 5:26-5:30, Those add-on bits are just hilarious..

  • 1. He said "whisker biscuit".

    2. He said "experience the thrill of hitting the same hole, every time."

  • Impressive attention to detail. Looks like a finely crafted weapon indeed. I have absolutely no use for such a weapon, but that doesn't stop me from appreciating the exceptional engineering. Well done.

  • well said!

  • Every time they say 'TAC-15' take a drink
