I actually saw some GameFAQ's thread where someone's trying to beat HeartGold with just Unown and nothing else. Based on Unown's suckiness, trying to solo the game with it would probably be pure suicide.

gyrados is an awesome pokemon since it can pwn electric time pokemon bcuz it has an awesome attack stat and can learn earthquake the only way it did suck though is that in 2nd gen all water type attacks were special attacks(well at least i think so)

Unown is worthless like Magikarp and its glass cannon evolution. A glass cannon is a powerhouse that dies in one hit.

Gyarados, glass cannon? Do your research. Gyarados is extremely popular because it can take hits of most kinds very well, and as for Electric attacks, they're just bait for a Ground-type, Jolteon or Electivire, so you won't see many people actually try to hit Gyara with Electric moves, much less land their mark.

You are being a bit too careful about the mud-slap. Sure, that 100% reducing capability always mess around, but even if a pokemon weak against it, it has only 40 power that way . Gust does more damage than a super effective mud-slap! (40+STAB vs 20x2) . And if your accuracy is reduced MANY times, then switch(just like spearow in pokemon red!)!You'll have a couple of potions there too. So, Don't be scared of mud-slap or... Be scared of gust(?)

I'm aware that I can switch, but to a level 12 Gastly that can't do a single point of damage? And imagine if I get Mud-Slapped on the switch... not good for Hypnosis' accuracy. To be fair, I'm not too worried, thanks to the 7 levels I gave Gastly, but the fact remains that neither of my Pokémon are going to do as well as Bulbasaur did against Brock and Misty. And if a worst-case scenario materializes, well, I may not lose, but still... I don't like reaching into my bag before the E4, either.

i know another use for bellsprout, get a max repel then teach it Sweet Scent, from the exit of ilex forest, then use it to lure Entei & Raikou

Sweet Scent is lame, it does the exact same thing as walking in grass for three seconds.

also, I don't think there is any references to the 3rd movie, the only non-event reference in the games to the movies that I can think of is near the victory road in the 3rd gen there is a character who is assumed (the name is different) to be one of the characters in the deoxys movie, the dialouge is similar to that character, and the pokemon is the same.

well, once you get you get all the unowns, you can connect using a link cable two gbc's one with the game, one with the game boy printer. The Game Boy Printer was one of nintendo's failing peripherals. you could print out something (I can't remember) with the printer.

Also, that message at 5:34, the letters are based off of english and I can read it pretty easily.

I don't recall what the other rooms say, but to the best of my memory there is no connection between the messages and the Entei movie (which is worth watching if you're bored or procrastinating, if only the Entei vs Charizard).
