  • honorable? he took us off the last link to gold by executive order. thus giving us the chaos of fiat currency we have right now.

  • I think I was around seven days old when Tricky Dick gave that speech. Nothing more. End Of Line

  • @AgentPepsi1

He quit because he would have been impeached. Nothing more nothing less. Whether he's honorable is only your opinion. It certainly is not my opinion.

  • America needs a full time President, and a full time Congress....... 38 years later

  • A dedicated, honorable man. It is so unfortunate that Barrack Obama is not.

  • Im gonna find Barak obama on facebook, post this video, and say "TAKE THE HINT!"

  • At least Richard Nixon was a true leader, a real President, and a staunch patriot. It is sad that Barrack Obama is neither.

  • @AgentPepsi1 Word

  • @AgentPepsi1 oh please grow up.You guys wont even allow him to work.

  • @AgentPepsi1 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • @AgentPepsi1

LOL.....Nixon wouldn't be conservative enough nowadays for you teabaggers.

  • "I am not a crook" - hahaha!!!

  • Why'd He Quit Anyway?

  • Right, that's not 'irony', that's 'coincidence'.

  • hey guys,, ok . you were right i am an asshole , i quit this bitch

  • Nixon: Sounds like someone breaking in!

JFK: Sit down Dick, it's just a storm.

  • HEY! THATS NOT HIS REAL VOICE! HIS VOICE IN BLACK OPS IS HIS REAL VOICE! lol

  • I remember Watergate like it was last week. It seemed to go on forever. The Ervin hearings, the press conferences, sides forming. History being made & we were all witnessing it. A seemingly minor office break-in exposes massive political filthy tricks & ends with the 1st ever presidential resignation. A President ordered law enforcement agencies to break the law. Campaign & tax money was used in the extensive operations. I'll never forget. Peace to ALL.

  • If we got out of Vietnam sooner, there would not have been the Watergate scandal.

  • @wolverines447 Greatest president ever!

  • I noticed how he is reading his speech with no telepromter.

  • i wish other presidents would do this... it takes guts.. and other recent presidents should have resigned but instead got us into the shit...

  • 37 years ago tonight?

  • 37 years ago today :)

  • RICHARD NIXON DID NOT DO WAR CRIMES COMPARE TO BOTH HW BUSH & W BUSH!!! BOTH OF THIS NAZI THUGS SHOULD HAVE RESIGN!

  • Blaming lack of support in the congress for resigning... Trick-D always had an ace up his sleeve didn't he?

  • wolverines richard nixon is dead. really?

  • he resigned on my birthday 19 years before i was born

  • during this speech he tells the US to withdraw from Nam and tells everyone he is sorry and Ford is now the boss.

  • If you study Nixon's career as a president you find that he really wasn't that bad.

  • @ZackMyslinski He got the U.S. out of Vietnam, pushed America the rest of the way to beat the USSR in the space race, faced down the Soviet Union down in 1973 during the Yom Kippur War, and broke the ice with China; turning a sworn enemy into a cooperative friend.

People are quick to squawk about Nixon and Watergate. But he's no different from other presidents; *he simply got caught with *his dirty laundry.

  • President Nixon was a great man and a great President He made his mistakes and it is sad that he had to resign especially given that the watergate break in was such a stupid mistake given that his re election was assured

  • @wolverines447 Yep, the preserved head from Futurama.

  • Obama should start writing his resignation speech. Nixon had Watergate, Obama has gone against everything this country stands for in his 2 1/2 years in office. He lied but unlike Nixon he will not admit it.

  • @MadameBarry110

What? Are you 8? How does Obama go against everything this country stands for? I think he just represents everything YOU hate. And that makes me sad for you.

  • i find it hilarious that richard nixon is listed as "the artist" by youtube. i thought this was serous politics, not a remix

  • A republican ... surprised?

  • @TheYoungTurds1 I never said Barack was a crook. I was arguing against "alexagramont". Tell THEM that. And Obama is not a tyrannical socialist. Unless you mean that in a good way, then yes.

  • Retard below fails to realize Obama writes most of his own speeches

  • @spencerdev91 Exactly. What an idiot.

  • @spencerdev91 obama can eat a dick babe

  • @alexagramont Now how is Obama a crook? Give me an example on why Obama is a crook, and I will listen to what you have to say. Saying that Obama was a crook, saying that he was more of a crook than NIXON is probably the stupidest thing I have ever heard. And I never said that I thought he was a bad president. I was just saying that he was a criminal, and it was a bad thing for being ousted as president. He has done some good things, but he did one really bad thing. But WHY is Obama a crook?

  • @soccerguy325 Obama is no way at all a crook...rather he is a tyrannical socialist.

  • Anybody know where I can download this? and the "I am not a crook" speech?

  • @linazolid I also have something to say to you. Personally, I, probably as well as most of America, definitely think that Nixon was more of a crook than anyone else in this country, because HE, the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, was the first and so far only president to be ousted for doing an illegal act. First one that was ousted at ALL for that matter. You may think he isn't a criminal, HE may think he isn't a criminal, but, in my view, someone who does something vapid and illegal is a crook

  • @soccerguy325 he might of done criminal acts, but he wasn't as much of a crook as Obama.... Nixon has done a few bad things but look at his accomplishments then respond back... do not be ignorant, he was paranoid and that caused him to break in to Watergate.

  • @bigrigJim I already said this in another video - he didn't end the Vietnam War. Ford ended it in '75, and, as you probably know, he was ousted in '74. And the reason he is mainly remembered for the bad things is probably because he is the only president who was forced to resign because he was ILLEGALLY eavesdropping on his opposing party's thoughts...probably because he wasn't using his brain enough to think for himself.

  • Obama's speech on the Tucson Shootings was better. At least he actually WROTE it!!

  • @soccerguy325 No he didn't, Zbiegniew Brzezinski did, just like all of his other speeches. Hail to the teleprompter-in-cheif!

  • @HoLOLcaust

Zbiegniew Brzezinski did what? I have written many comments and I need to know what you say he did.

  • @Laxsith164 Jesus Christ, calm down. He just made a mistake, it is no big deal!

  • He resigned on my birthday :)

  • This was a sad chapter in our history... I was 14 yrs old in 1974, and grew-up in a home of solid GOP's. Yet, even though we had all volunteered for Nixon in '72 (I stuffed envelopes!), nearly everyone agreed that Nixon had been complicit in the cover-up, AND the many "dirty tricks" that came from his administration.

  • i fantasize about obama making this speech!

  • I don't believe personally that he should have been judged completely by the Watergate scandal, he did lots of great things as a president. Why on Earth every single American citizen forgot all the good things that he had done for them just because of a break in I can't tell.

  • @Gaara1135 well when you violate an entire nations trust and try to buy your elections you deserve to get fired.

  • @lilblake90 he resigned before his impeachment so technically he left

  • Nixon was no more of a "crook" than you or your next door neighboor. He was an opportunist.

  • See, would you people prefer presidents reading off paper or teleprompters?

  • Damn hippies. I'm not a crook

  • what did nixon do?

  • @harveybntype look up "Watergate scandal" on Google ;)

  • @harveybntype he ended the war in Vietnam, and he restored alot of rights to Native Americans. He did more good things as president than bad, but people only seem to remember him for the bad. I was 5 years old when this was broadcast on t.v. , and I still remember watching it with my parents, one of my earliest childhood memories actually.

  • I love the two top rated comments....thats irony right there.

  • @Brakeman94

    That's not ironic you dumbass.

  • @andersfranghettot yeah it is in a way. the top rated comment is about one thing in which the 2nd top rated comment critisises. They are both opposites but top rated.

  • haha 24 people on here dont know what ironic means.

  • HAPPIEST MOMENT IN THE HISTORY OF ANYTHING EVER!

  • 2:43 HAPPINESS!

  • nixon was a better president than bush 2 was.

  • @MrTabby5000 Wow, that was an insult to Nixon At least Nixon thought he was doing something to better for the nation, even if he was sneaking around to do it. He believed that. Bush 2 was a greedy self serving ass who war profiteered the whole country into financial darkness.

  • @azmildman

    watergate was a great idea.

  • Damn, dude. :V

  • nixon son of the bitch

  • He started the dam war on drugs now you can't even get a pain pill from a doctor

  • It's ironic that the 37th President's 37th speech was his resignation!

  • @davcat76 That's not ironic you dumbass.

  • @Laxsith164 yes it is you rat fuck

  • @DREwestcoast That is not irony...really...trust me.

  • @Laxsith164 lol

  • @Laxsith164 It kinda is, asshole.

  • @davcat76 Irony is an opposite, not the same

  • @davcat76 IT'S A CONSPIRACY!

  • @davcat76 it's a coincidence not ironic

  • @davcat76 no its not ironic, its just a coincidence.

  • @davcat76 Not ironic, coincidence.

  • "I'm not a crook"

    Anyone call schnadigans?

  • rofl.

  • please dont be ingnorant nor take this as a joke. This is perhaps the most serious and most historical resignation of all US hisory. This is NOT funny at all.

  • rofl
