i really dont know why people have such a problem with uplifter and dont tred on me. both albums just show different emotion. as a reggae/rock band they've just been able to express a harder AND softer side of reggae rock. they cant just stick with one sound and not evolve. that would just be boring. i anticipate they'll go back to their earlier sounds soon enough. but i love every album they've produced. 311's fuckin sick. fuck the haters!

trust me im the biggest 311 fan there is....but the day we turn to pop the show will stop..... they are slowly heading that way. I am even hearing Jackpot nonstop on ESPN before and after commercials. ESPN is owned by disney. Im not happy about it but im not gonna deny that it is happening. I just hope they get there shit straight and making a fucking jamming cd again instead of this shit.

P.S. this cd is not terrible but it def sounds like they stopped using there main soucre of insp.

All they do, and all they need to do, is play whatever they want... And i will listen to it.... and i will love it.

Wow, a band where you actually get a new album each time they release...not the same old same old. Uplifter is worth every penny I paid for it, all three copies (to get the "exclusive" content - nice work marketing). I love how every song has so many pieces of their past but added in with an entire new recipe and ingredients! If you call yourself a 311 fan and don't like Uplifter, then you don't really like 311. This is what the boys are about!
