@daaaaa125 if you listen to the lyrics it tells the story of a man who lost faith in everything, ranging from his girlfriend to almost everything in his life, and religion was never there for him, he never had strong faith in God, so when he realizes he's damned for sure (the line "shot straight to hell") after he's lost everything he decides he's got nothing to lose anymore and commits suicide by jumping off a building. He's basically saying I messed up and now it's time to deal with it.

This song is just amazing. I find it disturbing though that, human nature doesn't really care about a person till they're dying. Like in the video the priest wouldn't care about buddy, but since he's in need and he can't help him, he fears for him. It's perfect on the director and the musicians that they got that right. Everyone cares when they can't help him. It's a sad and true thought, but it shows humans as compassionate creatures when we're needed to be.
