  • they come with the chatterbox set up but you can hook up an ipod to them i have the old chatter box but the wires are long enough that you can put it in your chest pocket i think you can get a sat radio to these days for them haha personaly i dont like listening to music when i ride but i alot of people that i ride with do

  • they make speakers that you can put in your helmet

  • @ozzy133 what kind are they

  • wow is riding thta boring to u it bad enuff ppl are putting after glow on them it a sled shit meant to ride and break not doll up with gadgets

  • lets now heir it run with the music now what would that sound like huh ?

  • Just what we need more noise in the woods. It's bad enough with all the wannabe racers with all the aftermarket exhaust mods. Now a blaring stereo.

  • where did you mount the speakers and how? im redoing my sled and would love to do this!

  • @Flamed440 mounted them right behind the windshield. either side of the speedo. used a rubber gasket between them and the plastic to absorb the vibration of the sled. drilled 4 small holes through the plastic and thread locked the screws the came with the speakers. dwg speakers

  • how easy is it to hear over the wind and engine noise?

  • Nice Job i have similar setup, anyone interested google Kuryakyn Speakers and Amplifier there are a ton of set ups out there mainly for cruiser bikes but easily set up on any vehicle

  • dwg speakers for motorcycles. look forward to seeing your set up. make sure your sled has a battery thats what powers the amp

  • yeah i have a battery, do you have a stereo too or does it just have one in the amp like fm radio, is it the 100 watts speakers?

  • @Fraser2222

Finally got my vid uploaded of mine check it out.

  • I can hear it loud and clear, i often leave it at half volume otherwise its too loud

  • to bad you cant here it when your riding lol

  • Sweet you might be the first but i saw one guys sled with a helmet communicator beign set up to use his ipod with it

  • yeah Fraiser2222 i havent had much luck looking on youtube or googling for stereo systems on snowmobiles except this video but i bet some high end sleds have radios. back in the 90s when i did go snowmobiling i passed someone on a sled and I swear I heard music playing on their sled it was way cool. it might me possible to have a stereo on a sled

  • lol id install a car stereo on a sled or a motorcycle stereo just hook it to the battery and to the ignition switch but i dunno if the generator that powers the headlight if it charges the battery or not, im sure the electrical systems of sleds have changed over the years this is going on a Yamaha sled from the 90s.

  • sweet

  • sorry...but i wouldnt want that on my sled..

  • apology accepted ...to each their own.

  • nice work! how did you install that?
