i think now in a society like this its almost impossible to be confident with everything you are and to be happy with everyone else. I'm confident in my looks and although my bra cup size is A - I like all of my body - everything matches my thin 5'2 frame. At the end of the day, when I get a compliment on my looks,I can really own that compliment because it's all mine. I feel like if I ever got surgery - any compliments would make me feel insincere. That's just my opinion though - I know girls who got surgery and look great. :)

I understand why the parents did what they just did, not because they want to do it but because its their childs decision as a person. And once when i talked to a psychologists, she told me that the worst thing a parent could do is to persuade them to do what they dont want and stop them from doing what they like most. Saying "no" here and there isn't a negative thing at all. A kid has to learn at a young age that they can't always have their way, and that their way isn't always the best way. I wonder how many young teens have had their lives saved simply because their parents said "no" to something they wanted to do, (ie. go to a party drink & then drive.)

I do believe teens can choose to have plastic surgery if they have a deformity such as a third ear or having one nostril. The subject (Kaitlyn) in this video actually looked "normal" to me. The real root of her problem is self esteem not outward appearance.

I understand why the parents did what they just did, not because they want to do it but because its their childs decision as a person. And once when i talked to a psychologists, she told me that the worst thing a parent could do is to persuade them to do what they dont want and stop them from doing what they like most. A parent should just be there to support wether a child suceeds or fails on their decision. Besides a child has her own life to build.

@jomailaliamoj On the otherhand, it is a parents responsibility to stop their child from doing something that could cause more damage in the long run. Saying "no" here and there isn't a negative thing at all. A kid has to learn at a young age that they can't always have their way, and that their way isn't always the best way. I wonder how many young teens have had their lives saved simply because their parents said "no" to something they wanted to do, (ie. go to a party drink & then drive.)
