  • Hans also did the theme song for the tv series Evening Shade. I am a big fan of Hans.

  • I would like to hear him live, I´m an old boy from old Germany. Is he playing in old AZ?

  • @Eifelbboggie yep still kickin!

  • I first heard HANS in late 70's and he played at some of my productions in 80's... He played all types of Honky Tonks and ALWAYS was a crowd pleaser ! Great Artist !

  • " Two Lips Cafe"

  • I finally met Hans and got to listen to him.He rocks the blues!!!!

  • Fantastic sound. Kind of like one man doing ZZ Top. What on earth tuning is this?

  • i use to go see him at those old biker bars too...the one in scottsdale....i was too stoned to remember the name...good times

  • First saw Hans back in the 70's at biker bars in Tempe/Mesa... he IS the father of the Blues and Boogie in Arizona and the Southwest... bar none. He's the man.

  • Wow. Where were these old biker bars?

  • That would be Lil Abner's.

  • @knuckleheadfredPOBF Met my husband at Lil Abner's, RIP Space Man.

  • @jdadams We might know one another! I first heard him in KDKB and went to hear him at Lil Abner's on Apache.

  • What a bluesman!

  • FANTASTIC ! I have been out of touch with the Blues Scene in Phoenix for some time . I still have a home there and spend a little time there(but not near as much as I used to in the 80s-90s) I used to go see Hans , Chuck Hall ,and the Rocket 88s . I miss those days and the great Blues. I think it is time to look some of these great artists up and go out and try to support them again (when I am in town)

Thanks for the great music !

  • I came from DC to see the Redskins-Cardinalss game in 2005. That morning, I saw Hans perform in the outdoor seating section of a restaraunt for Brunch in Tempe/Phoenix on Sunday December 11, 2005. He was incredible, outstanding! I think the name of the restaraunt was Sugar Daddy's. Great food to go along with his ear catching talent. That experience along makes me love Arizona.
