I saw this version on PBS back in the early 90's. Laughed for about a week after that "NOOOOOOOOO!!!" I liked this one; how it was filmed just reminded me of those cozy little knick knack stores you go into around Christmas time.

i just wanna say that in all honesty, this is the BEST version of the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe. The 2005 one SUCKS. And Barbara Kellerman is such a fab white witch!!!!!! But to the point, turkish delight is okay.

She has opted for a very theatrical style in this version, possibly in part due to it being a children's show. However, I think it would be rash to assume she's a generally bad actor based only on this.

say what you want about special effects and what have you. I love the new film by Andrew Adamson, but they used to play the miniseries on PBS and on the Disney Channel and I'm still terribly in love with it.
