Most mollusks including ur achatina fulica have a radula (their tongue) how do u think u could use a radula if u were to scale it to human proportions.

All my friends think that I was trippin or drunk till I showed them the video and my 3yr is just glued to the screen when I watch the videos he love the snails so I thought maybe they stay in the loop/life for a while with little needs for handling...

This is Achatina fulica (East African land snail), the biggest one is Achatina achatina (giant tiger land snail) but theyre kinda rare as pets (in Finland).

Dunno how common these are in the U.S. :(

If put salt on it?Or illegal in the US?If you put salt on,melts because the salt brings on osmosis,and basically breaks down all the snails cells which are primarily made up of water.Illegal in the US as they are an extremely dangerous crop pest.They are hermaphrodites,breed like God Knows What(People have more than one they liberate the eggs/baby snails etc..You see the point,HOWEVER)They are an amazing pet, I had 5 1.5yr olds,Ironhide,Bumblebee,Jazz,R­atchet and Optimus.I now have 4 3yr olds :)

Yeah, they are a lethal crop pest man, no kidding, Google it, there's a news article about them in California about 30 years ago! Wreaked Havoc like! Also, what kind of snake? I love everything, rats maggots snakes, but I just cant abide Spiders, severe phobia! Once there was a spider web on my apartment block door, so I slept outside. Ridiculous I know!

Best way to overcome a phobia is to face it. Yes I know very well thats easier said than done. But it worked for my arachnophobia and ended up having 5 of them as pets. And they are amazing creatures. Just a bit cooler maybe than a huge snail. But just by a tiny bit. :)

@Silweror haha, its moreso the fact that they are not even for sale in the US, nor can you find them in some garden somewhere. I was thinking of getting them shipped to Canada and driving them over, but border patrol DOES check for plants and animals. And the fines are HUGE.
