I don't want to be pessimistic, but I read this netbook was cancelled? Anyone knows why? Does the Netbook industry realize what are the consequences (not good) of this decission? It's obvious in the video, that there are no graphic card issues running 1080p video using the Nvidia ION2 chipset, so I think this is really not a technical issue, but a political issue, does the tablet market targeted for mobile OS's like Android has anything to do with this?

I would love to install a SSDNOW 256GB on this beauty and it would be the fastest netbook in the market. I have a Creative XFi USB sound device so I could really setup a HTPC with Dolby Digital Audio and 1080p with this netbook in minutes. Great Job Acer!

zomg i want this netbook, actually its more like a mini-laptop if it does what they say it does then it can out perform most standard laptops so calling it a netbook doesn't seem appropriate. only thing that annoys me it the no disk drive, it saves space making it smaller i guess. i suppose i'll just have to download stuff like microsoft office instead of having a hard copy, or get an external disk drive

performances are better than standard netbooks but not so good as standard notebooks

This sucka should eat 1080p vids as if they were rice crispies so I'm assuming theirs a good reason for that massive cpu usage. WMPlayer more than likely being dogaids ridden lol.

@maksimus32 yes CPU is working quite hard but its a 1080p video and plays smoothly

NM10 chipset isn't still capable of this by its own, it needs Broadcom HD minicard decoder
