This was really fantastic. It is so cool that they pulled of such a beautiful reining routine in completely different equipment.
As a predominantly english rider, there is one thing I don't really understand about reining. The sliding stops and spins are unbelievable, but why is a single lead change such a big deal?
@shortstuph123 I agree. I don't ride western but I think this is a beautiful routine, very entertaining to watch. However this horse out of all the flying changes he did there may of only been one done correctly. This horse changes his front legs BEFORE his back legs meaning this horse isn't coming from behind when he does them. Other than that fantastic to watch. :)

the road with my horse was long ant stressful i have only evr owned one but my close friend had somes so i rode senc before i could walk it was only 3 years ago that i finally got one of my ow just to find out 2 months later she was severly abused and now she is unrideable

@thecowgirlandherhors this horse is way more talented! did you completely miss how it looked into its small circles the way it did, and changed leads effortlessly. not to mention those super smooth and humble spins and deep deep stops. stacy is too focused on her horse going around with no tack, this horse was trained to be 100% badass at its job
I can watch this over and over... and it makes me choke up every time. It inspires me to be a better rider. Not because its reining in a racing saddle, but because this rider's skill goes past discipline and focuses on pure ability and communication with the horse. This is also an amazing horse to compliment her rider and accept the different tack while still absolutely loving her job. Fantastic ride, fantastic idea, fantastic horse. You deserved the win, and thank you for the inspiration.
@XXXxQueenyxXXX How is she a bad rider? That was absolutely amazing. To ride a reining competition as well as she did in two point is absolutely amazing! Two point is killer.

@MichelleZB1 they train ther horses to do that and they wear slide shoes they're really slippery so when they stop the horse at the steed they slide:) its an amazzing feeling
I love this!! This must have taken a ton of training though, getting the horse used to a different saddle, and a different bit, (or at least I hope they didn't use a curb, with the way she held the reigns:) and two hands on the reigns, and the rider had to adjust to being in a two point and not sitting deep and secure in a western saddle. But it was simply amazing!

@thecowgirlandherhors this horse is way more talented! did you completely miss how it looked into its small circles the way it did, and changed leads effortlessly. not to mention those super smooth and humble spins and deep deep stops. stacy is too focused on her horse going around with no tack, this horse was trained to be 100% badass at its job

I can watch this over and over... and it makes me choke up every time. It inspires me to be a better rider. Not because its reining in a racing saddle, but because this rider's skill goes past discipline and focuses on pure ability and communication with the horse. This is also an amazing horse to compliment her rider and accept the different tack while still absolutely loving her job. Fantastic ride, fantastic idea, fantastic horse. You deserved the win, and thank you for the inspiration.

@MichelleZB1 they train ther horses to do that and they wear slide shoes they're really slippery so when they stop the horse at the steed they slide:) its an amazzing feeling

I love this!! This must have taken a ton of training though, getting the horse used to a different saddle, and a different bit, (or at least I hope they didn't use a curb, with the way she held the reigns:) and two hands on the reigns, and the rider had to adjust to being in a two point and not sitting deep and secure in a western saddle. But it was simply amazing!
