2. Pittsburgh has about 800 cops on duty. For G20, they had about 4000 officers. So, there is over a 3 in 4 chance that this cop was from another city.
3. Police had been telling people to disperse for over an hour because they did not have a permit to protest. They also told all to dismount their bikes for about 1/2 hour. I guess they found out just how far they could push these cops' buttons

Getting shoved by the officer to coerce her into vacating the area doesn't constitute assault. However, her throwing her bike at the officer does.

Some students were trapped in one area, no where to go, and were hit with tear gas. They were just students in their own building, not protesters. And the students told the police that several times.

The police then violently threw this small girl to the ground probably injuring her. 1. It says "Oakland" on newscast because that's the area around the Univ of Pitt is called.
2. Pittsburgh has about 800 cops on duty. For G20, they had about 4000 officers. So, there is over a 3 in 4 chance that this cop was from another city.
3. Police had been telling people to disperse for over an hour because they did not have a permit to protest. They also told all to dismount their bikes for about 1/2 hour. I guess they found out just how far they could push these cops' buttons

Getting shoved by the officer to coerce her into vacating the area doesn't constitute assault. However, her throwing her bike at the officer does.

Actually, a lot of the people were arrested for no reason at all, as shown in other videos.
Some students were trapped in one area, no where to go, and were hit with tear gas. They were just students in their own building, not protesters. And the students told the police that several times.

She was hit (shoved) in the back with batons, twice, the second hit was hard enough to knock her off the bike. After the bike throw, the cop hit her in the head with the baton hard enough to propel her a couple of feet into the other cops.
The same attempt to provoke an incident happens just after her takedown, cop shoves a guy with the baton hard in his back, trying to knock him off at the curb -- he gets off the bike.
These are thugs, not public servants.

How was the girl stupid? You may have a point in a way. Sometimes it might be more intelligent to follow authority even when they have no justification for that authority and use violence against you when you have actually done no wrong. But if you don't want to have that authority hit you even harder then it might be less stupid to just do as they say. But if you want to be slave who can be pushed around and if you don't question their authority then fine. But other intelligent people do.

A great portion of them aren't even from Pittsburgh, so yea, I was pissed yesterday when there was a 2-hour delay when my greyhound bus coming from Columbus had to divert from Pittsburgh just to AVOID the whole G20 thing.

Such actions are usually taken to gain leverage over the police or out of frustration by damaging corporation property. BUT it doesn't achieve anything. I don't think you know what is going on in that video. These people are moving and have not been arrested. However, the police are using violence against these people. Of course they will react and of course they SHOULD. It is just a shame that the police were not actually beaten across their heads somehow as they deserve it given what I can see in this video.
