and second, how is the fuel line in the tank oriented to be able to handle the acrobatics? The 049's that I have all have the fuel line drawing from the side of the tank - I assume this is to ensure full fuel draw when flying in a circle (control line).

No, there is no throttle on this engine.
Just put the fuel line on the bottem of the tank. That`s all...
