Such an amazing video! Congrats! She is goregous and so lucky. I dream one day to be able to do something like this. I do have children of my own, but i would love to have an adoptive child as well!
This is absolutely beautiful. I'm sad that your wonderful family has been criticized so ignorantly by some people on this comment thread, but just remember that only unhappy people bring others down so that they won't be alone in their unhappiness; their comments aren't about you but rather about whatever else makes them unhappy in the world. Thank you for sharing this story about your little girl. It brought tears to my eyes. :)

Adoption is dick and unnatural and should only happen if there are absolutely no living relatives. Adults who were raised by unrelated people are usually maladjusted hateful angry people who call normal people "hateful". It's a defense mechanism. Proof is - well just look at some of the comments on here supporting adoption and look how America fell. If childless people yearn for a baby but can't havr one - God had a reason. GET A DOG AND STOP KIDNAPPING OTHERS' CHILDREN!
@childrescuer American individuals you mean. I'm pretty sure it takes the majority of Americans to fck up in order for the country to "fall," and adoptive individuals make up only a tiny percentage of the population. Your reasons for why adoption is "unnatural" puzzles me.
@ilubuithink Duh, of course it is unnatural! Why do you think a momma grizzly bear will kill you, and rightly so,if you touch her child? If you are barren, that was God's plan. If you covet thy neighbor's baby, you will burn in hell.
@PLANBMUSICVIDEOS Adoption is not the same as "coveting thy neighbour's baby" A family who cannot have children & choose to adopt are no different than a couple who choose to have children naturally. There is no difference between a couple who see a friend have a child so decides they would like to have children and a couple who see the same but decide to adopt. Maybe God "plans" for people to be barren so that they can adopt a child who has had a rough start at life and needs love and support
@childrescuer adoption happens in nature, too. you hear of animals adopting other's young, even from a different species. why should it be kept in the family? i would rather be adopted by someone who can fill my needs in life than be limited to extended family for reasons unknown to me. i don't believe in God, either, and i could probably have my own children if i so chose to. read the story about Hannah and Elkanah, as well as many scriptures suggesting adoption as a good thing.
@childrescuer sometimes it is not in the child's best interest to stay with family because of abuse that's happened. In the bible God talks about adopting us into his family as one of his own & if this isn't an indication that adoption is a good thing then I don't know what is. There are plenty of amazing people who were adopted & there are also many amazing parents who sadly, through no fault of their own, cannot have biological children but choose to take care of & love children who need them.
I think you mean "biological father". Adopted children have 2 sets of fathers and mothers. Ones that gave life, and ones that are there for the daily life journey.
My 2 children are adopted and both sets are "real" parents.
your an insensitive idiot! these people did an amazing thing. adoption is a long emotional and difficult process to endure. they gave a great life to a child in need!
we are adopting from South Korea. We have one bio daughter and are happy to expand our family through adoption. God bless the birth parents and the adoptive parents and of course, the babies and kids who will join new families.
She is fabulous! How is she gettin on now? All of a sudden, dad looks so young at 2.32! My aunt and uncle adopted a little girl from vietnam a few months ago and im the god mommy! We are all so thankful to have her. Congratulations and I wish you all the best for the future! x
each child deserves a chance to have a wonderful life and i think that they will get that chance because of people like bodenhamer1018 and his patner, they did a BEAUTIFUL thing, and Lola will have the best chance at life now. She is a gorgeous baby!!
I think that all people are free to have their own opinion, but there is no need to be so bitchy about this--this isn't about 'God' or any religious things like that about not being able to have kids. Lola must have been in there for a reason whether it was her parents deaths or something else-
Sorry, I thought you were dissing Child protective services and the people that foster and adopt through them, didn't realize you were talking about that guy who left some comments that were aweful (I didn't read CPSSucks' comments, they were blocked).
Adopting from China is expensive and a VERY long proccess. When I was looking into it I think the numbers for that country were $30K and the wait was something like over a year IF you were approved. I'd love to have a little Chinese girl, but with the cost being half of my annual salary, I think I might stick with domestic kids. : ) Definately something to look into if you are up to the cost and wait though. Adoption from anywhere is a great option!
Adopting from Philippines - can't specify a gender and they have more boys than girls. Cost $15K+.
I believe the reason that so many people adopt from China is because of the laws there and the likelyhood for a girl. They have a one child law and generally prefer male children because they can support the parents when they are older. There are so many girls that are abandoned or given up so that these families will not have to have an abortion and still be able to have a male child.
I always thought adopting from China was easier, but I think my parents want to adopt from Iran, since you can pick gender and you can say what age limits do you want the child around, plus it does'nt take that long at all,so yeah I think Iranian adoption is very easy : )
Hi I read somewhere yesterday that the waitlist for a special needs child from China was as little as 6months and the child's conditions were not very severe..Something to look into I guess. I could be wrong though I am no expert.
To Lola's Mom & Dad. Your daughter is beautiful, and as an adoptive father of two from the orient, you only need to look upon that contented and perky smile of your daughter to know you did all things right! I too got a jerk comment on my daughters video, and needed to let the water roll off this ducks back. The ignorant will always choose to find something negative in the creation of something so beautiful. your family. Just that word, will make your heart leap! So enjoy, ya done good!
Please remove yourself from the gene pool. I wish nothing but the worst for you you ignorant piece of garbage. End yourself you puddle of animal waste.
Your daughter is absolutely adorable. You must be so proud. I don't know what CPS has said in his/hers previous comments but it was obviously something extremely hurtful. Please ignore comments like that. You (and your wife) have a heart of gold- don't you forget that. My husband and I have a biological son but we hope to extend our family through adopting in the near future. Your video has inspired me. I hope you enjoy many happy, fun filled years with your daughter. God bless you all.
CPS Sucks. Your name suites you. I don't know where you get the idea it is a kidnapping. They are doing everything legally. I think it is a great thing they did for this little girl. I don't know the adoptive parents, but what they did was great. They are giving this little girl a better life. It is better then sitting in an orphanage until they are sent on there way with nothing. Markbodenhamer you did a great thing. Good luck in the future. You saved that little girls life, remember that.
where is that baby's REAL mother - this looks like kidnapping. Even if the mother gave up baby "voluntarily" it is WRONG. Children belong with their real parents; this will come back to haunt you some day.
@CPSSucks Whoever you are, I feel sorry for you for your ignorance, and whatever happened to you to make you so hateful. I was adopted at birth, and my adoption has been one of the best things that has happened to me. My real (adoptive) parents love me more than life itself, and I love them. You clearly do not understand the adoption process. Some day I will adopt children of my own and give them everything they deserve. My heart aches for you, and for your lack of love and acceptance.
I'm Lola's "fake" dad. What a fun life you must have, sitting at your computer judging people. Like a modern-day knight in shining armor. So brave. So needed.
Just wanted you to be sure that I saw your comments. Sure, it hurt a tad, but it's cool. You're entitled to your opinion, and someday I'll use it to teach my fake daughter about tolerance.
Hope today brings you many new happy stories to lash out at. I'm sure you already know it, but you're saving the world, bro!
It's too late for Lola, but if anyone else is reading this and thinking about adoption, they should really understand the moral issues before they succumb to their desire to be another Jolie/Pitt/Madonna. If God hasn't enabled you to have your own children there might be a reason (and that reason isn't to steal someone else's baby). Read The Baby Thief about the woman who popularized adoption and made it cool. She also was a monster, who sexually abused children and literally stole babies.
@CPSSucks you have so much hate in your heart. I have seen you post nasty things on other videos too. I'm sure that you think Diane Downs was a wonderful Mother too, who should have been able to keep her Daughter who was born while she was in jail.......I sure hope that you DON'T have children. If you do, I feel sorry for them. You are most likely teaching them to have hateful hearts too :-(
@IsabelleHayley - I'm don't do this for hate, I do it to for children and families - children and families who are destroyed by CPS and the adoption racket. Read "The Baby Thief" and then come back and tell me about hate, cause the woman who made adoption popular in America was a lying, child abusing, greedy, hypocrite who spouted off the same b.s. as all these adoption agencies are still spouting off. Educate yourself, because it may be your child who pay the price for your ignorance.
@CPSSucks I know alot about adoption. 3 people in my family were adopted. They are now 43, 47, and 55 years old. They have all met their Birth Parents ONCE, and that was enough for them. We would have fully supported them having a relationship with their Bio Family, but THEY are the ones who chose not to. You are so one sided. And yes, in MY opinion you do have hate in your heart.

What terrible things to say to someone. Have you personally adopted a child over the age of 2? I'm sure this couple decided for themselves what was best for their family, who are you to sit and judge? My daughter came home at 16 months old and had many emotional needs to work through. Not every soon-to-be parent is equipped to take on those needs - nor should they feel they have to. Shame on you!
Are you jealous, this was a special moment in this families life and you try to ruing it how mature are you?

Infant adoption today equates to Child Trafficking.

Everyone always wants the little baby's for adoption. They just want a cute little baby to show off and compete with their friends.
No real heart. There are tons of little kids 2 years and up that need good homes.
But it's not about helping a child for you. It's about shutting up your stupid clock while showing off and feeling fulfilled.
