People would be convinced of air compression technology much quicker if they could go to their local hardware store and buy a compressed air lawn mower that works like a charm.

All the negative commenters on this topic sound like they work for the big oil lobby. And you know the BOL will be actively trying to squash this technology.

Something relatively simple like an all air powered lawn mower, weed wacker or bicycle would be hard to argue with. But until its on the shelf at Wal-Mart...

Still the SAME, "tippo747?" Are you insane? They are getting like 200 miles per tank of air, and the electricity to run an air compressor for a 3-minute fillup is PENNIES. Also, have you ever heard of WIND POWER? Wind farms are growing all over the world & can carry alot of the load.

At any rate, the world is not held hostage to the Arabs for coal. Air compression engines are the way to go. When these are produced globally, the Saudis will go back to 3rd World status.

not for 3000 plus psi. check how much energy is needed to get 3000 psi. you know how the two stage cair compressor is? I wonder how many stages or what would do it. automotive a/c compressor put out around 250 psi. what do they use to load bottles with 3000 psi. I have to check that out

but the difference is, it only costs $3.00 worth of elecrticity as opposed to thousands needed to drill, refine, store, transport and distribute fuel to the masses. With air, you do not need to transport it because its everywhere. Just turn on the air cimpressor and it will suck the air that is in the vicinity of the machine :) Much much cheaper for everyone.

That is why trains and trucks use air brakes! They both have onboard air compressors. This new application just removes the diesel portion from the equation but keeps the air part.

There are soooo many ways to skin a cat... Here's one: Why not run on IDLE, and inject water to supress detonation thruoghout the rpm range? I can aford to give these away, there are just too many. I run on a homogenous mixture that is @ 90% water. Non-turbos, @55% water. Still good, but the air car is superior in that it can be made the ultimate flex-fuel vehicle. A single combution-pressure tank would raise efficiency to almost 100%. That's ISD, or Internal Supressed Detonation. Peace

there is a much higher power ruling this world. These rich oil companies would go bankrupt if all the free energy technology was actually looked at and not some underground secret. That's why their the ones with all the money. So they can't and won't let that happen at any cost. i think oil industries will start lobying to band this tech from come on the road on safety reason but definitely this car far more safe than any motorbike on the road (using gasoline)but this tech will decrease the oil demand half from now and reduce world polution about 60%. later my child will see oil in cemistry Muzium.
