  • Incredible and original!!!

  • amaaaaazing

  • why my god why are they clapping. I couldn't even enjoy this. ;slfksfjlsdkf.

  • what is the name of the song?

  • @ratkaatka Dracula - The Storm

  • @Dinelril Now you're making sense. What u said is indeed correct, but my whole point was just that, technically they are obeying the rules of this dance competion. Of course, this music doesn't actually remind me of paso doble either, more of Dracula. I don't really get their choice for this music to use it in their paso doble. But you get my point:P

  • @bananaficator Of course I get your point. I've never said, that wasn't paso doble dance, because it is. As I like to say: The artist defines the art he's making ;)

  • @Dinelril oh and also; I've played Plaza des ventas, and it is indeed really nice.

  • @Dinelril you should read better next time. I never said paso doble can't be music;) I said: paso doble DANCE. Because; originally the paso doble IS a dance style, first danced in the '20's. YES there is paso doble music, but paso doble doesn't mean anything else than double step, which indicates a rithm. The paso doble music you talk about, was first called paso doble after people started to dance paso doble. Btw; I've played a lot of paso dobles so I think I know what i'm talking about.

  • @bananaficator it's all connected to each other. The Dance intimitates a Bullfight whilst the paso music was/is the music played at a Bullfight in Spain and southern France which implies to play the paso music to the paso dancing. Also, the dance evolved from a french military march, which makes it apparent to dance it to march music, such as the paso music.

Of course, you don't have to combine it, but it's a totally different feeling. This dance reminds me more at dracula than a bullfight.

  • @zxcvbnrebus dude, next time you wanna sound cool and all pro and stuff: check your resources... a paso doble dance, is a type of rithm and a way of DANCING, not the type of music you use...

  • @bananaficator paso doble is a dance but, in fact, it is also a kind of music. For example plaza des ventas uploaded by instrumentales79. It's a beautiful paso and he's got many more in his playlist.

So next time you think, you know better, think again^^

  • These IDIOTS should be fired. What the hell is wrong with these so called "professionals" who dance Paso Doble to music that is NOT even closely remote to Paso Doble. TOTAL MORONS !!!

  • @zxcvbnrebus this was just a showcase. Not an actual competition. Perhaps that was why?

  • wow wow wow. where can i find a version of the song/composition they are dancing to?

  • @MrNandipha ITunes. Its from the Bram Stoker's Dracula soundtrack - the composer is the brilliant Wojciech Kilar.

  • More like El Paso Diablo

  • bellissima interpretazione. complimenti agli autori. ciao dall'italia

  • That was absolutely magnificent! Now that is how u Paso Doble!!

  • Intresting and impressive, but it just doesn't look like authentic Spanish paso doble to me. Too much creativity to my taste. What Wojciech Kilar's "The storm" has to do with paso doble?

  • Love 1:32

  • 2 w 1 czyli to co tygryski lubią najbardziej

  • he needs to put on paso posture by pushing the shoulders behind his back. all the time.

  • Am I the only one that thinks this performance is missing something major? I love the music, the story, but the execution is just lacking conviction and he looks so lame wandering around the dance floor without that dominance, sharpness and attitude that is unique to the matador role in Paso Doble.

  • impresionante

  • Everything in this vid is just spectacular . For me it's the best paso ever. I love absolutely everything, starting from Elena's dress, and the music (for the ones who search it's Wojciech Kilar's "The storm" from the movie "Bram Stroker's Dracula") and most of all the dance - the energy, acting and passion. STUNNING

  • Awesome Presentation, great choise of Music, very dramatic.

Absolutly perfect dance, nearly as good as Yulia and Max/Riccardo I think

  • this is a fantastic performance !!!!

  • May anyone send me this "song" or whatever this ist, please? (:

  • Mina's Photo, Wojciech Kilar from Bram Stoker's Dracula Soundtrack

  • Incredible good!

    Absolutely fantastic!

I would like to dance as good as them in the future.

    Love it!

  • This dance was amazing. I just wish that we didn't have to see and listen to the crowd clapping during the performance. Its distracting. *Ohh look I'm clapping in the middle of a very intense and dramatic performance* I agree this would have been great in a movie scene.

  • Masterfully done!

  • SPLENDID! ITS JUST PERFECT !!!!!!!!!

  • can anyone tell me who the composer of this music is? it sounds a little like mussorgsky but i think it's more recent...

  • This was created by polish composer Wojciech Kilar for the "Bram Stoker Dracula" movie. Find the full soundtrack and enjoy!

  • Thanks for the info!

  • this dance gave me goosebumps!!!!

  • this dance is paso doble! you should research what paso doble is. Oh and by the way these are professional ballroom dancers so they know what they are doing.

  • wow.. best paso i´ve ever seen.. not these typical played corrida ^^ - amazing ..and stanlyn2 you´re totally right ;)

  • this is the most amazing dance video ever.

  • amazing show...and amazing music.impressive

  • not real but perfect

  • nice show but this not the real PASO DOBlE is muh exageration on this two :(

  • It's called "the Storm" and the second is called "the Ascension" and it's on the Bram Stocker's DRACULA Soundtrack.. which is a cool movie... It's cool how they mixed them to together...

  • Impressive. The use of the Dracula main theme works really well with the passion of the Paso.

  • I can't find the words...Very impressive performance and music! And I love Elena's black dress.

  • I just LOVE this Paso, it's so original!

You can feel the dark and gothic nature of the dance. When I first watched this video I only thought the music was some type of Gregorian chant, but even then you can see the predatory nature of the choreography. Makes one think of night creatures, hence vampires. I didn't know until I read some comments below that this mustic was from vampire movies.

Music, choreography and costume. Everything just fits perfectly!

  • god dance!

  • WOW...That was BEYOND amazing! The music was absolutely beautiful...and the dance was just...wow...

  • Awesome.

  • uuuu...macabre, demonic, morbid. beautiful, i love it

  • that's the best paso doble i've ever seen, for once it's not so hectic and everything, this one's really got sense

  • don't compare to championships!! this is show-dance, its another world!

  • it was just amazing...!!

  • Actually, the music is from both Interview with the vampire and Dracula. The song they danced the pasodoble to was the dracula song.

  • wooow, I LOVE IT!!

  • that was so amazing <3 love it.

  • wow, dark demoniac beauty...unbelievably unbelievable:)

  • What a propulsion, compassion and performance.

Breathtaking and dramatic, sinister and macabre. Chilling to the bone. Very good.

  • where is the music from? i love it!

  • Film: Interview with The Vampire.

  • In fact, I was wrong. It just seemed like it.

  • Captivating!!!

  • they are not after the original music of the paso doble, its the way they interpreted the dance that makes this performance so much beautiful. powerful expressions and elena is great! i love her.

  • This is not a traditional Paso Doble. But the acting and emotional support on their faces just incredible. They show how they are so much into this dance.

    Fantastic!

  • not crazy about the music for paso but dancing and

    expression.....breathtaking!

  • wow... it was amazing! so dramatic, beautifull... ach! ;)

  • ethereal! oh dear, so beautiful

  • Paso Doble is my fave dance to watch - so exciting, dramatic, powerful... this interpretation was fantastic; one of the best I've ever seen.

  • bretahtaking .... I am speechless ... sooooooooooooo beautiful

  • interview with the vampire

  • Francis Ford Coppola's Dracula

  • duuude...this is a show..not a competition..the moves are from pasodoble...is sothing special...:-B

  • the music is so not paso doble... horrible! Q espantosa musica.

  • It´s true, the dancing is magnificent, but the music cant be worse...

Es verdaddd! Estoy de acuerdo, la musica es HORRIBLE, peero el baile es espectacular!

  • Complimenti per l'intensità e la perfetta interpretazione del dramma del Paso Doble, grazie.

  • Pasodoble is spanish...SPAIN!!!! with "S" NO Superman...Spain!!!! Pasodoble español!!!

  • bastante bueno y muy profesional

Que buena toma de video !!!

    That's Great !!!

    SirFelipe17

  • I loved it.

  • anything but paso doble, a spaniard would never defile in such way one of the most masculine and elegant dances of the Spanish tradition. the music lacks the martial rhythm of the paso doble, a mere expressive ballet, not a pasodoble.

  • Open your mind!

    Expand your horizon!

    Think out of the box!

    Stop being narrow-minded!

... Oh wait, I'm just using the same tired old cliches that you just did... sorry

  • paso doble originates from France....lol but i see ur point

  • ummm. no it doesnt. cant get a more spanish tune than pasodoble.

  • srry it does, but they were inspired by bullfights...

  • France? What about Spain? hum? PasO Doble belongs to Spain...

  • Do your research. Paso Doble is originally from southern France, but it was inspired by Spanish bull fights.

Would you claim that Van Gogh's paintings belong to Japan because he was influenced by Japanese prints?

    Honestly.

  • ooh, I didn't know that! Paso Doble was always inspired by bullfighting, so it seemed like it's nothing else but that.

Nice bit of trivia yo got there!

  • hahahaha. you didnt do ur research my friend,Paso Doble or pasodoble is a lively style of dance to the duple meter march-like pasodoble music. It actually originated in southern Spain.

  • actually it originated in southern france

  • Speechless!!! Never seen a Paso Doble like this.

  • The dance was absolutely Amazing!! The music puts a real drama to the moves! The music was from Bram Stokers Dracula- Track 11: Mina and Dracula. I'm using the same song to a ballet that will renact the Paso Doble

  • Loved the dress

  • All of the moves are Paso and it definitely has the right drama, it just has different music. It's quite innovative and powerful in my opinion. Loved the entrance.

  • Well the music is from Bram Stokers Dracula. Its kinda interesting that they would choose that kind of music for a paso doble.

  • Well, they are dancing the Paso Doble (two step) but what is this music?

  • Paso Doble is not 'two step'. it is a form of march played at bullfights.

  • That doenst look like a paso doble...

  • Amazing....loved it.

  • The most dramatic paso i´ve ever seen! I really enjoyed it.

  • she dances good but i dont really like da song

  • beautiful!

  • powerful
