Okay guys false alarm, haha, the laptop is a pure beauty, fast, quiet, could get a bit hot if kept on the bed (while on ofcourse) but apart from that, which can be used to warm yourself up, especially in this time, it is wonderful

yup..your lappy is capable of playing all games in medium settings for now..( i have a asus m50sv(almost same config)...COD4,crysis,TF2 are all very playable on it.)

I just bought the m50sv also, T9300 and 4GB, im so stoked.. I'm going to do XP pro though because its for work. BTW did you have to mod the drivers?

I purchased this as well but it has 250G came with 4GB ram on a 32bit os. I loaded Ultimate 64bit to utilize all 4G of ram and also put Ubuntu 8.04 on there. It runs smooth. Only prob I have ran into is no sound on Ubuntu yet, but its because a driver issue with Realtek audio. Other than all that, its a smoking deal for 1200 bucks on newegg.

Plays COD4 at max settings (1024x768)

Need for speed runs smooth at max graphics (800x600 but with 2x anti-alasing) It probably could go higher but I didn't bother testing

I payed 997 + taxes at a store in Montreal

This is clearly the best laptop I've ever bought for the price

I've just bought this PC. Inside its cheap and good at the price, but outside it is some plastic shit. One of my "holders" for the screen already fell off.

you can make your own custom holders, just send in a picture to a company, and they'll make it for 37 euro's!

i'd rather have a awesome with crappy holders, instead of nice holders but nothing good to hold on to ;D

My Model is the Best one atm the 37G they are all sold out in store and have to be replaced with the 3G. It has a T9500 2.6Ghz Processor Blu Ray 2x. Read Only. 9500m GS. 3Gb Ram 250GB Hard drive. Vista Ultimate are the defult settings. Only cost a bit more than the model shown but hard to get in stock. Should take about a week

its defanately probably 1 of there Asus boards. as they engineered it.. ;) i doubt they would put a diff manufactures board in there own system.. I'm going to get an Asus M51Sn, soon.. :-).. and do alot of coding on it. with the linux distributions I work with.. and even with my xp pro vlk =) I'm glad I didn't buy the Asus F3 Series. Patience is a true virtue
