If you do get called for the draft (here is what they don't tell you.) when you show up, they put people into a stooper and manipulate the scared draftees into a swearing in ceremony where they agree to join the armed forces, which is not induction but willful acceptance. First start conversation, small talk, speak about politics in a light manner at first. After you can tell that they agree with you (because most of the time people will share common goals) you broaden your ideas in a positive manner.
I have talked to super conservative people, and made them agree with me by doing so. Don't start off with a bias, or superior speech. People like people hay can relate to.
