  • can this swimbladder thing cure itself without medicine? i just bought a fish then suddenly 5 hours later it started to turn upside down. the fish seemed sick :( PLS HELP!!!!

  • @Nadwahh Do not feed the fish for two days then feed it frozen peas. Take a couple peas out of the freezer put them in warm water and take the shell off the peas and just slice up in tiny pieces to feed the fish. After feed it a couple peas for 2 more days and it should start to clear up. Good luck!

  • @sammymunir tq so much! the fish is fine now. thanks to you. i also have another question. Does the air pump with the double outlets is safe to use if we only use one outlet rather than using both outlets. The unused outlet also pumps air but no tube is attach to it.. is this safe?

  • what if you have like 6 other fish in the tank with it???

  • We have 5 fantail goldfish, and for a couple wks 1 would swim upside down and then back to normal but now the same 1 has stayed upside down for about 3 wks and now actually has a knot on his belly where it sticks out of water. We have been feeding him the peas for about 1 1/2 wks and no improvement. Any other suggestions on what we can do??? Also added the Salt.

  • omg i know how u feel fish man i do that all the time when im nervouse it looks stupid dont worry just think to your self dont do that wier d thing you do just dojnt do it

  • I cured my Betta by feeding him 1/4 of a pea once a day and he got better. I thought he was going to die soon but today when I came home he was going crazy when he saw me and back to his usual self. I cured him in two days. I also added a table spoon of salt to his tank. Idk if that did anything.

  • this guy help me to solve lot of fish deseases

  • thanks cris.

  • Don't feed your fish anything that floats! The fish gulp air when they get the food at the surface of the water. Either get a sinking food or make your own gel food (there are recipes online) and this will help almost all cases. Also keep the water clean by doing regular water changes. What this guy is saying is pointless, melafix and pimafix have nothing to do with swimbladder disease. The main thing is to not feed them floating food. I've had fish for almost 10 years and figured this stuff out

  • but my fish refuses to eat peas

  • any one tell me can i cure swim bladder with spinch

  • nice flowerhorns

  • can u also use this for tropical fish?

  • erm guys, im trying the 'green-pea' method.. but my goldfish aint eating them (cuz they're not use to it??).... WAT TO DO?!!!!

  • i was about to get freaked out wen he said 'Now there is no actual treatment for swim bladder disease' 0_0 LOL?!!! ... but then he continue...i hope the green-pea works... everywhere on the internet says this

  • @neodorkiss thats like saying, why not make a new baby, why waste money? dont u think?

  • @iT0XiC No, a fish is an animal that has no soul. A human is a totally different story..

  • @neodorkiss Oh U have a big point there buddy u got me this time.

  • Mars nibbled my finger once. I didn't pet him.

  • NI 83co....if you know more than this guy, you should be able to spell an english word right..you cant spell for shit..fishguy

  • i no way more oubout this dissece somtimes its just heschape of the blather, Ryukin and oranda are famous affeter eating the go flwht some hous later its gone, some tips are oke, but there is much more to be learnd, dont grap medacation unles you are sure its a internal bacterial infection, and a digestive problem, medcation is like poison the les the better

  • @Ni83co you might want to learn about to write in english before you give advice to others, okay? ^_^

  • how to find out wether a goldfish is pregnant or not?please if u guys know reply me..... :)

  • I have a video up of my fish, could you guys go look and see if that's SBD?

  • I found that when I used pellet food some of my goldfish would get SBD. Since I switched to flakes I have had no cases of SBD.

  • @chuzziii me 2 they look funny xD

  • u need a Melafix is antibacterial and Pimafix antifungal fish remedy change the water like 7 days time

  • I Need Help...actually my fish does. He has had SBD for two weeks now going on three. I can't get him to eat peas...he just spits them right out. I think he is getting to weak. I've tried both the anti-bacterial and anti-fungal, but he just lays on his back at the bottom of the tank. Any suggestions? He is a black moor, over a year old, and I've gotten attached to the little bugger so I would hate to have to euthanize him.

  • lol i know how attached you can get i managed to keep some of the little caravel goldfish (the throw the ball in the bowl game) for 5-7 years i had to move them to my ornamental pond aventually.

  • @kerred make sure you shelled the pea. Just give him the stuff in the middle. It's sad but SBD is really tough and hard to get rid of.

  • Swim bladder disease can not be cured through water quality ha ha ha your talking tosh m8

  • I got a pearl scale fish...He's had SBD for a week before i realized it was a prob..Been cleaning the water-50% water change in my aqarium...and then made a lil hospital tank to use the medicine(been cleaning that everyday). I've been feeding him peas every other day or two days....its been over a week and he's still like this. I dont get it.

  • @SoniaCoonen lol

  • my mickey mouse platy just got swimbladder disease :( She was my favorite fish..

  • my fish got swimbladder without warning.i already had swimbladder medicene to hand.treated the fish and went to bed.the next day,the fish was dead.i hate swim bladder disease :(

  • why does the guy keep scratching his eyes?

  • @agaragarlove

coz hes pissed with having to say all the contact details at the beginning of every video

  • @agaragarlove its because his nervouse i do that when im nervouse and i only just started doing that now i used to tap my fingers

  • @agaragarlove

Maybe cause he's handling the all the pet medicine , then scratching his eyes before even washing his hands! ;/

  • @agaragarlove He's lying...

  • @agaragarlove pink eye

  • This works, I saved 2 fancy goldfish w/ swim bladder disease this way. I used Melafix and stopped feeding the pellets & flakes. Instead I feed freeze dried foods (brine shrimp, daphnia, worms.) and cooked peas, greenbeans, orange, etc. They can be allergic to fillers and wheat in flakes, it gives them gas & upset digestion & leads to SBD. But there are lots of natural food recipe ideas for goldfish on web. Also gel foods you can try instead of flakes. Don't give up until you try this.

  • Cool... Thanks for the advice. I'll be treating my hatchet fish tonight after work :)

  • My Fish was stuck bobbing at the top of the tank. I read on the net about a few tricks. and it was sick for 2 days. I read to try Cooked Peas.. (boil and cooled) and to feed it to the fish. I tried it. and My Fancy goldfish was Better OVERNIGHT! and hasnt been sick since.. IT worked for me. Mabe work for someone else. just thought i might mention it!

  • Nice flowerhorns in the background. Lol. Anyways, every time I use Melafix, it kills my small-scaled or no scaled fish. It cured my bigger fish and cichlids, but killed off my catfishes. I don't know why it does that.

  • somthing to do with the dyes in the meds apparently ive never catch loaches so i wouldnt know.

  • I have a feeder guppies, and I noticed one of them swimming oddly. It almost swims in a circle sometimes like it lost a fin, but occasionally it can go in a straight line for a few centimeters. I had just added more water to the tank, and I think I poured it in too fast. Could the fish have a swim bladder disease or was it simply damaged by the torrent of incoming water? (I hope not the second, because it seems less treatable) Can I treat feeder guppies for either? Thanks!

  • should i put that kind of medicine in my main pond cuz most of my koi's got ulcers...:| and Fin Rot.... someone please reply...:) thank you

  • how does the goldfish act if it has that disease?

  • it swims awkwardly, either sits at the bottom or floats at the top...

  • it usaly floats at the top

  • thanks a lot for your advise!!!

i will try with my fish!

  • thanks for the tip i wish i had view this video first, my fav fish died just now after 2 months purchasing due to Bacterial Infection

  • This is a great series of videos - thanks for making them! :)
