You don't need a GTX 580 to play this game.A GTX 550 or 460 or a GTS 450 is enough.

Sorry this may seem like a 'noob' question, but how does DX11 'turn on'? I have a card that can run DX11, is it automatically turned on when I put all the graphics on max?

@GOOBENsticks or........ Right-Click on the EXE shortcut, and where it says TARGET, add dxd11 after the second ".

It should look like this,

"E:\Assassin's Creed Revelations\Assassins Creed Revelations" -dxd11

Exactly, you want to space before -dxd11.

If you cannot tell, run a utility like MSI Afterburner, make sure you display FPS, and it will show whether you are running in DX11 or 9.
