  • Naw, he's right. This is the 5th mission on the SNES Super Double Dragon game.

It's just that it was a re-make of the main theme.

  • The resources to make a soundtrack were way more limited, but, somehow those sountracks sounds better than nowaday's games, probably they were made with more inspiration...

Just listen to soundtracks like: Shinobi 3 , streets of rage..... pure greatness.

  • its so hilarious, becuase i still have this game, but my super nintendo doesnt work -.-

  • i love this theme brings back so many memorys

  • double dragon 1 nes

  • dude is it me or did the last boss in this game look like wwf superstar shawn michaels LOL i got up to the final boss and im like SHAWN MICHAELS!? why is he doing spinning back kicks and flips wtf!?

  • Dang, i was so glad when i beat that damn clown i ran down and told my mum and dad and brother. The only one who understood the importance of this great achievement was my brother.

  • I want the old games to replace the new games. lol.

  • When I hear.....it makes me wanna do it justice and beat the game without dieing

  • The Fat Clown desliked it twice

  • The time people were not complaining about stupid graphics or even storyline. Everything was pure fun gameplay. All of these melodies make my eyes wet.

  • @sephirothmustdie You have a good point. Gamers just played for the sheer enjoyment. I remeber we would spend the whole weekend trying to beat games. Staying up all night, sore thumbs, switching players.... and if you were good you could beat most stuff in a couple of weeks.

This new stuff has so much in it it is like you have to sell your life and soul to master it all.

  • I remember always arguing with friends and my sister over who got the nunchucks in this damn amazing game.

  • Nunchucks all day biatch! :D

  • Pretty sweet

  • one of the sweetest basslines for any SNES game. The part from 0:40 to 0:53 would often come up into my head randomly, even ~15 years since I last played it. I just found this yesterday thinking about it... another childhood nostalgia satisfied. Thumbs up to the poster and Technos.

  • summer vacation, playing this on rainy nights with the sounds of crickets in the distance. Beating the shit out of the fat clown then realizing I only had one continue left. Sweet baby jesus i miss my childhood and the awesome games I grew up with

  • @MrAlexftw fuck yeah man

  • @MrAlexftw - Indeed man. I grew up in the 90s to amazing games like this. I too remember playing this with my brothers on SNES on afternoons, and beating the crap out of the bad guys. Nothing more satisfying than cleaning up the streets. Hell, these games taught my brothers and I to do what is righteous and good :D

  • Damn that fucking clown! I never got past him as a kid hhaha this song used to make me sad/scared because of him

  • always saved the knife before i went down stairs so i would puncture that son of a B

  • Best theme music ever

  • I just got up on the platform and kicked the clown every time he tried to jump up. Took a while to take him out though =/

  • Lol i remember playing this when i was 6. We'd always make us nicknames for em like lionhead, clowny, and suity. Damn i hated those suities... And that clown, OH! Same with the chinese butchers. Oh but i love the game. Still have my SNES and still play this game regularily. THere's nothing like beating up a bunch of lions and clowns and Arnold Schwarzenegger on the bridge. Dang that bridge too. Always killed me.

  • @JenkemSootyMcNigger Oh, don't worry, I will. As a matter of fact, I have put this game on my Christmas wish list so I would like to get this as a Christmas present for me as of next month. Because if I don't see that for Christmas, then when the new year comes, I will make it my personal mission to find it and obtain it for my SNES collection.

Like I said, I am planning to have it for Christmas since I let my family friend know and have her buy it for me at any website that has it.

  • This game had great music and some awesome moves (counter attacks, etc). Listen to that music... So smooth.

  • the clown scared me as a kid

  • I just got to have this game! I would love nothing more than to own Super Double Dragon now that I currently own a Super Nintendo. I can try finding it at second hand stores or other pawn shops for this classic. I have never played this game before, but I did play the first two Double Dragons for the old school Nintendo.

I want this game so bad, I just can't resist, and I want to own Double Dragon!

  • @littledebbie187 I played II and III on NES and they're both much harder than this game, but this game was still fun :)

  • long live old school!! :D

  • have been listening so much to this, that i cant even nostalgia, shit made new memories for me. but i still love it.

  • LOLOAAOJAOSJOAJSJJAJAJA THAT CLOWN AT THE END!!!! I USED TO THROWING KNIFE HIM OR USE A STICK

  • Hearing music like this just makes nowadays' games seem pathetic.

  • @Galaga135 yeah, coz before, the games meant something. like morals, honor, justice, and all the stuff that makes it humane and inspirational. nowadays, its instant gratification, dont get me wrong, i do play the new games today, but what im saying is that, its just not the same anymore.

  • @bliquidfire Yeah. Games now don't have this kind of music. They are forgotten less than a year after their release.

  • @blackflame100 indeed. but u know what, we still have US. the people who were once kids who remember how awesome it was back then!! :D

  • @bliquidfire Yeah, I hear that. I myself grew up playing Double Dragon, Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter, etc.

  • @Galaga135 yup it doesnt make u wanna kick ass like this theme does...

  • @Galaga135 its so true man cuz now adays its all aobut how pretty and bloody it can get not about game play (except nintendo) or music (except nintendo, capcom or sega)

  • @Galaga135 you are so right sir !!

  • LOVE THIS MUSIC! Amazing videogame too... brings back the memories :)

  • Oh wow, i always lose at this stage STUPID FAT CLOWN MAN!!

  • Wooooow I remember playing this when I was a teenager Sigh... the good ol dayz nothing like it :-)

  • omg lol wow memories

  • omg the TERRIBLE FAT CLOWN!!!

  • OMG yes! That fat clown was gay!! Everyone in the game was realistic except that fat gay clown. All he would do is roll like a blur in mid air. what the hell did that move even mean!? argghhh!

  • @jerzeyrunnerflash well, the twins can make spining kick for like three hours in mid-air too x)

  • @usernameluis305 his fat ass wanna keep rolling and shit..

  • @usernameluis305

Dude I loved kicking that Fat Clown's ass! I hated the fact that it could escape with that flinging flanging spinning technique. Bwahahaha.

  • My fav double dragon, still play it from time to time.

  • alright super double dragon beats the heck out of the sega genesis versions

  • ha my brother and I used to play the hell out of this game haha

  • i think you may have mixed up the themes a bit. I'm pretty sure this should be the main theme, and what you listed as the mission 3 theme should play here.

  • The themes are in the right order, however the Japanese version has the themes in a different order and I don't know about the US version. I have the European version and this is the correct order.

  • this seems to be the mission 5 theme of the US version to me

  • @trucksoner You're right :) I had the U.S. version as a kid. I didn't know until watching the Japanese version last night on youtube that it's different that way, too!

  • @Protectobot yeah, it's interesting how they bother to make it different

  • or actually mission 6 maybe

  • the US version is exactly like the PAL version but the jap version was made later , so they changed music order for no apparent reason

  • @VideoGamePervert for the US&EU, japanese version has even 2 more songs.

  • @VideoGamePervert if that the case, then the U.S. and European versions are the same. This is the correct order for U.S. too

  • No, this IS the mission 3 music. I know it sounds the same, but it was just made that way. I remember playing this mission as a kid and saying "Hey, isn't this the theme song".

  • @CirqueDuFreak2000

A good Double Dragon fan will recognize this tune as the main theme. A true Double Dragon fan knows this is the main theme for the three previous games, but not for Super Double Dragon.

  • @Overlord277

i apologize if i offended you, but i hadn't played the game in years when i posted that comment and had been listening to the japanese soundtrack, in which this IS the main theme.

on that note, a TRUE double dragon fan would know that this would have been the main theme in the finished version of the game if they hadn't rushed it.

  • @CirqueDuFreak2000

No problem with me. I actually don't mind being corrected. I thought I was an excellent double dragon fan since I own the 3 on NES and Super Double Dragons on the SNES. Oh, and the 5th fighting version on the Genesis.

I must say, good job and thank you for that lesson! :)

  • @CirqueDuFreak2000 mission 5 had a remake of the original theme for its bgm.... so in a sense u are both right

  • my 2nd favorite song of the soundtrack, it gets you pumped up :D

  • @zhoutai 2nd-fave? It's maybe my fave' track. I also like stage 4 on the truck a lot :)

  • Whata picture =]

    love this game on SNES

tru legend following Street fighter turbo II and Super Mario brothers.

  • Where can i download this?

    i must know =D

  • get vdownloader and u can convert this into mp3 format

  • i have this song on my ipod and i think it was a good song for the original double dragon too

  • This is The original Double Dragon theme.

    Thanks a lot!!

  • It's the Double Dragon theme, which was used as the final battle theme in the Japanese version.

  • i remember that this make the final batle more intense

  • aweesoommmeeee great thanks a lot

you are a genious an know what´s good
