We loved, and miss, Jim Varney. I saw an interview w/ him once a year or so before he died; he did an impeccable HAMLET'S SOLILOQUY!! He apparently had done some Shakespeare before he became famous as Ernest. What a talented man he was.

God Bless Actor/Comedian Jim Varney- May he always rest in peace in heaven. He made millions of kids happy with his signature character called Ernest P Worrell. He was a very talented man! He was also terrific as The Slinky Dog in Disney/Pixar's Toy Story. And I believe that he was born in Kentucky!
