I have always loved Piazzola's Oblivion. I have played it, listened to it many days and nights, but this performance really broke my heart. I didn't even know there was a vocal version of this amazing piece. It opened an entirely new and deep world for me in which I just drowned. I have been haunted by her sensual voice long after the the music stopped, and I can not say how grateful I am.

@dimast007 .. I agree profoundly with yout observation. The molody has always haunted me.. I love Milva's deep at times raspy interpretation. Always think of her as a deep, red elegant wine. I always return to this melody...which ironically speakes of a state of total forgetfulness.. Thank you for posting this. I could relate, especially tonight.

Effectivement c'est une immense interprète, je l'ai vue à plusieurs reprises en spectacle à Paris dans des récitals différents et vraiment c'est une immense artiste, la voix est sublime et ce qui ne gâche rien Milva est splendide. Le seul petit bémol c'est que gestuellement Milva me fait toujours penser à Dalida !!!

This is so beautiful!!! While I love all the other instrumental versions of this piece, this is the one vocal version that I consider is D Classic original. Milva's vocal is so dramatically expressive and sensuous that you could almost see the whole entire love story unfold in front of your inner eyes... I also like Piazolla's performance on this rendition almost better than the instrumental version.
