@muck1123 If you concentrate on finishing your shot with your elbow higher than your eyes the ball will take on more of an arc and have a better chance of going in.
@holybom23 information on this is coming, but the video should illustrate the proper arm elevation. Basically, if you don't have proper elevation, you're going to be pushing the shot, which will undoubtedly lead to a flat shot. Arm elevation will get you the arc that your shot needs and will result in much higher accuracy.
hey wht do u do if your assist hand gets in the way and if your shooting hand twirls a little any help cuz when i shot my shot with a L the ball feels weird like i have no control of where its gonna go any help....
tex: Get the assist hand out of the picture as you are ready to shoot. The ball feels weird because you have not established "Muscle Memory" by repeating the shot thousands of times. Check out our "Form Shooting Drill". This will help.
I just noticed that when I get tired my arms pull down, I improved a lot today when I noticed it and remembered this video. Arm Elevation technique coming soon or what lol.
phatryde: Check out video on the "Release point". This will help on your arm elevation question. Glad to hear that you improved as a result of our video. Keep it up.
Thanks for the holiday wishes and the same to you and your family.
Shot Science i have watched most of your videos and i have improved heaps! i used to shoot my free throws bad and now i can shoot 7,8,9, out of 10!. You guys are awesome keep it up!
Blue: Probably a very good decision on your part. We would approach this a little differently. Pick one element that you think may help you and work on that. Then, if there is something more work on that . To dump your entire shot and start over without enough information usually will result in frustration. We will be here for you if you need us. Stay tuned and good luck.
The follow through video was the first video we put out, but we were trying to show it slowed down. They are the same, you just want to make sure you have a very relaxed release. It should literally "flop" over.
Thank you so much ShotScience! I went to this basketball camp and everyone liked my form and my shot was going in the whole day. Everybody was impressed. Thanks so much!
Do you mean around and around like a toilet bowl? That's usually a result of having the wrong spin on the ball. Check out that video in the interactive guide! Let us know if it helps!

does the speed of our stroke have to be same as when shooting free throws?
m3v2p 1 month ago in playlist How to Shoot a Basketball (Shooting Tips and Mechanics)
@m3v2p We teach that all shots are the same speed. We develop the "Muscle Memory" for the stroke and then ist's there. Do not change it!

Where is the video of the "Lack of Arm Elevation" section? I think the elevation is mentioned in the "miss of back rim" video
