I Sailed with these guys, one of the best air crew I ever had the pleasure to serve with. We did 52 days straight In plus 50 Celsius on one part of the mission. Sandstorms would plug all of our gear. I was Auxilliary Machinery Room 2I/C as well as EOOW Trainee. The Aesop was X army.
It is a 57mm anti-surface & anti-air. Missiles seem to be the primary weapon for us now adays. To bolster our anti-surface capabilities, we just had our CWIS upgraded to engage surface targets.
