You said to "use the direct steam copy and save as segmented." I found it save d the file realy quick but the compression size is better when using XVid Mpeg-4 codec using full processing. Slower but better quality and compression.

I just learned how to use VIRTUALDUB this video. Now I edited a celphone video converted to AVI using ZAMZAR VIDEO CONVERTER on both VIRTUALDUB and WINDOWS MOVIEMAKER. Somehow I find that the resulting video on WINDOWS MOVIEMAKER has a better picture and sound quality. I'm wondering why this is so. I really want to use VIRTUALDUB as I find it easier to use.

I need help guys, ive got Virtualdub up and running but it wont open my avi videos, i get this message, virtualdub requires a video for windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress video. Direc show codecs, such as those used by windows media player, are not suitable. Makes no sense to me guys
