  • yeah, this guy knows what he is talking about. Good video, thanks.

  • he is gonna do me :D hehe great drill dow

  • wat da fuck is that chris benoit

  • he's gonna do me :D 2:16

  • dude's beard is solid

  • batista is alive omg

  • Its a nice dhrill, we do it on wrestling practice but we be snapin the head down and then rapidly switch sides..

  • good stuff...

on a side note that guy with the beard looks like dwights cousin from the office tv show.

  • nice video

  • what's with the fake beard? Bustoff from Three Stooges?

  • I wonder how many on here have actually had neck injuries from these moves. Not strains or soreness or stiff necks I mean actual injuries I broke my neck from a 12 ft fall and landing on my neck and shoulder neck strength is what I believe saved my butt. So many are afraid of neck injury but refuse to do neck strengthening to avoid it. Thanks for the video grappling neck strength is important.

  • The Turtle is a last resort strategy, or a brief time buying technique. If you get caught by surprise, turtle until you can get a proper defense set up. The Turtle is easy to pass, especially for a BJJ guy, and can cause neck injuries if you try to hold it for too long.

  • Dude youre a beast

  • Great info. THANK YOU!

P.S..NEVER Turtle, it cost me my neck.....I went from redneck to metal neck. BJJ Can really be tough on the neck.

    Again, great video, much thanks.

  • Lol this is dumb. Listen you guys. If you want to work on neck exercise do bridges. Also if you want to protect your neck. Do whats called a turtle. You get the idea!

  • Greco stand up??

  • I think I try a similar exercise where I grab high on the other guy's gi collar to see how that feel.

  • I like this. I am preparing for Army basic training and I will incorporate this into my workouts.

  • How often should I do neck bridges, everyday?

Also, do you think having a big neck might cause an obstructive sleep apnea?

  • three times a week with at least a day in between for muscle building(that means sets, reps etc.) maybe 5-6 days for muscle memory and i doubt the human body is designed in such a way that it would allow your neck muscles to grow inward causing "obstructive sleep apnea"

  • I didn't know Serj Tankian wrestled.

  • the guy is a olympic wrestler look at his ears and the way his grabbing the other guys kneck and plus his kneck his huge

  • lol dude on the left looks like one of the spartens from 300

  • Thx for the reminder on neck strength. I'm going back to coaching this year and would've forgotten about such drills if I hadn't seen this vid. God bless...

  • he looks like chris benoit

  • i thought that WAS Chris Benoit at first lol

  • @bushawe ya same steriod content :D
