  • Nice playing I wish you could email me the settings you got dialed in on the pandora when you played this

  • just stumbled across this,,,impressive , really hope you most more

  • @pinkfloydian1957 - Thanks for the well wishes. I wish I had time to post more! I have a few request for that. This was just a video to show my guitar buddies that live afar how this guitar turned out, but I have gotten a lot of love back from it. Thanks again and I will try to post.

  • what a kickass guitar ! :-O

  • @fretsofdeath - Thanks a lot Frets!

  • Fantastic sound and playing. This is my next project. I love building my own guitars.

  • @jel6692 - Good luck with your next project! The one I am working on now is a red Rock-n-Roll Tele with a Bigsby and Dimarzio p'ups. I have another very expensive Strat project up after that based on the Warmoth drop-top binding body. I love the way a bound start body looks!

  • if you ever decide to do a blues rock ...or blues band....or maybe a savoy brown tribute band.............let me know...i play bass and sing....and i'm in lewisville.....i'm about your age...........

  • man your cool I'm adding your page ....I dig Gilmour sound and playing since 71 ...I don't play in that style ....I'm jealous ....lol

  • Grade A from top to bottom my friend. You got it down.

  • @EdVidz , Thanks Ed!

  • @EdVidz , Hey thanks Ed! I appreciate the note.

  • Nice Jamming and sound clean pickups.

  • @RivasRonald Thanks RR, nice blues on your channel.

  • @RivasRonald Thanks a lot RR. Cool blue blue guitar on your channel.

  • very very nice :-)

  • @hafstrat Thanks Hafstrat,

  • @hafstrat Thanks a lot Hafstrat, I appreciate the well wishes!

  • thanks

  • @RavenMadd9 Thanks Raven!

  • @RavenMadd9 , Raven, thanks visiting and commenting...favorably LOL! Take care.

  • awesome sound brother....when I have the cash I want to add same system in my old jap strat ....thanks for the inspiration

  • @RavenMadd9 Thanks for the well wishes. This guitar is great for thick slow but not as articulate for fast runs. Check ebay or craigs list, probably pick a set up for $150. Easy to install. Good Luck and thanks again.

  • wow ...epic . Those pickups seem to be amazing

  • @horsecoollover19 Hey thanks for the comments. The pickups are great for Floyd style thick tone but really only work well for smooth licks and not fast picking or runs. they don't have the quick attack for this but they excel at creamy, liquid smooth singing type solo's.

  • @donyyates cool , definitely david gilmour's style

  • 10's....Sounds to me like people are asking for MORE, Mr. Yates...bring it!

Great job on the build, and the sweet tone you're putting out sounds great...give us another, please sir.

    -k

  • @fenderbuzz , Hey thanks for the comments. I sold this guitar and sometimes I wish I had it back. I'm working on another guitar project at the moment which is a hot rod Tele featuring Dimarzio's and a bigsby. Hope to get it up here soon for a demo. Thanks again and I will try to put some licks up on my new Greg Bennett soon.

  • Nice demo. Thanks.

  • Sounds sweet my friend . Keep up the good work.

  • hey

    beautyful playing!!!

can you please tell me where i can find the backing track

  • Very nice mate! what do you think of the gilmour emg's, are they worth the money n live up to the name? cheers!

  • If you like what you hear ...thats about all they do! Indeed I don't like them as much as standard single coils. This guitar is great for thick lead tone but not nearly as versatile as my AM-standard when it comes to chords and chukka chukka stuff. My current fav p'ups are the Area 58 and 61's from dimarzzio. Sngle coil tone but CLEAN! Thanks for the comments!

  • Damn. Thats beautiful. Would look great with a maple neck!

  • Yeah I love Maple necks but I have two other strats with Maple so I wanted a rosewood on this one. I think the darker rosewood sets off the light colors of the body and pickguard. Thanks for the compliments!

  • True...well, anyways..Beautiful

  • Boomer 10's

  • nice playing. Can you please tell where youre getting the background music? I've always wondered how ppl get the background music without the guitar.

  • can I ask you what your string guages are?

  • Very nice!

  • Thanks Aweoig! I get a lot of compliments on it at gigs.

  • Great to see guys my age still rocking, More power to you brother you sound great.

    warmest regards

    Awesome John

  • Thanks a lot John, hey you rock pretty good!

  • Great job. that's one fab sounding strat.

  • Thanks for the well wishes!

  • that is a gorgeous guitar. and sounds great as well. good job on the build

  • Thanks Slaytanic. I am happy with it. peace
