Colossal attempt - superb - but compare, for instance, Adam's rendering of 'very very very late' which in adam's version is heartwrenchingly childish... there's such a range of emotion & drama in Adam's version - sorry, David - can't be matched....

wow, it's a fantastic cover. i think the comparison between the two is akin to comparing "hospital beds" by cold war kids and florence the machine. each are good in their own way but they have their own styles. if he sounded exactly like adam he would be regarded as just another copycat.

holy shit.
this is pretty good.
but, i disagree with the whole "davids voice exceeds adams" bit.
Adam is a lyrical genius.
along with his style of singing.
the song would not have been so influential, and amazing if it weren't for adam.
you can't discredit him.
i think he sings it the way he does because no one else can sound like him.

No it doesn't. I love David but the hurt in Adams voice makes that song. He doesn't make me feel the song like Adam does. The way he does it touches you. Involves you in it.
