I'm Irish, I've heard of the terrible things that have happend in Northern Ireland... and i can only say this:
I Hope That As We Move Closer To 2012, People Can Use The Only Wepon That Can't Kill........... Forgivness.... I Hope That Catolics And Protestants Can Live In A United, Peaceful, And Murder Free Northern Ireland.........
Show, show posso imaginar e ate tocar o ceu , somente por causa dessa mistura linda brilhante intensa e vibrante de cores raças pode me ver em varios cantos do mundo e cantando junto com estes coros instrumentais e vocais muito lindo mesmo ,que trabalho lindo .
mate how i would slap you about stick yer sinn fein clean up your arse, mate i never came here for a fight yet its yous caths that keeps this going.... maybe no in ireland but yous keep it going in Scotland.... n afor you come back there is a united country here, true its been lead the wrong way, but we as a people always shouted the right wat so mate get that fucking crap out your head n lets lead on as one united force, lets go on for peace
@Oglaigh66 people like you gives hope to me. Much like you probably would feel hate and anger and you are sending a message of love and peace. You deserve a congratulation, you are a living learning to many
The first time that I heard this song was shortly after losing my sight. I attended a Black Baptist Church in Alabama while visiting friends. The Chior was led by a 9 year old girl who's voice could not be equaled or compared to any I had ever heard.
2 weeks later I met 4 elderly men singing the same song. when I tried to give a donation one man said to me, " You keep that, we have jobs, just no home"
Brings tears to my face each time i hear this song.

my brother was in Ireland heading to Northern Ireland to visit. When I made an inquiry in order to try and have him donate to the choir, I found that the Director was giving an Irish tenor concert in the next town over from me in the States...small world!
i love this song my choir has to sing this song and on our bad days all our songs have no energy but when we sing this song no matter what mood we are in we sing this song with great energyi dont know theres just something about this song :))))))
