  • Bad product.

  • Rumblefish is the nastiest company. Is there a bigger copyright troll company on Youtube? These guys are snakes and I advise you to stay away from them. Just Google Rumblefish Youtube copyright and you will see what I am talking about.

  • I am having trouble with my Friendly Music purchases. Two of them now have come up with 'third party content identified'. I have licenses and license numbers for both these videos purchased from you but when I go through the dispute process, YouTube says my claim was denied. The license numbers are for Turn up the Good, #41b66262-742d-102e-b7c2-12313804d9b5, and for Celebrate, lic. # a98f1b6a-b1f2-102e-acf1-12313b12d511. Now what do I do?

  • Pretty good post. I just stumbled upon your channel and wanted to say that I have really enjoyed reading your video posts.

  • It's been some time since you set up this channel. How have you been finding it?

  • Simple but yet entertaining and engaging..

  • great videos.

  • Cool. What's the hip-hop beat used in the video? I remember coming across the track in the catalogue once, but can't find it now.

  • ONLY 1.99$

when i saw this i thought this video would be a parody

  • What an awesome site! So innovative and easy to find awesome music for video content and share with all your friends! My music available here as well for all my fans wanting to use it for their Youtube videos!

    music love-

  • So purchased music can or cannot be used in a *Revenue Sharing enabled video, or a video which contains Google ads on its page??

  • Hi @Clarkizh, Yes, it is okay to use FM music for this. Just make sure to claim ownership of the only the video and not the audio when uploading.

    Thx - Friendly

  • @GetFriendlyMusic So you can use Adsense on a video with Friendly Music? I'm confused. As long as when you upload you don't claim ownership?

  • I have checked the site and it wouldn't be for me no interesting music.

  • I also provide music that you can use in your videos. Check out my channel

  • too bad there are hardly any songs there! might as well contact the artists directly

  • Good eye @screencastblog! You are on the money, they rocked this video for us!

  • About time someone has come up with this great idea, so many great unknown artist out there and so many greedy artist too!

well done GetFriendlyMusic. so wished i found you earlier. subscribed.

  • that is just great. now we have to pay to add music to our videos even though most of us dont make any money from making videos. way to go youtube :(

  • Hi @onlinegamer85,

There is a free alternative available that you can use our music to create a soundtrack for your video with music via YT's AudioSwap tool. The FM service is another option that gives UGC creators the ability to edit the audio to import our songs into your favorite video-editing application and use them to enhance your video. Thanks for the comment.

  • @onlinegamer85 What? You want to be able to use someone else's content in your videos for free? Those songs are someone's intellectual property. It's no different than posting a video made by someone else.

  • @thisisjoshman Why shouldn't i be able to use that content in a video if

iam not making any profit from the video?

  • Great Idea!! Quick question if I may, can musicians submit music to your site to add to your catalogue?

  • Hi @0anaxim,

Absolutely! We love hearing new music! The Friendly Music catalog is powered by Rumblefish so just go to music licensing store dot com and click on the submit music section, and that will have all of the information explaining the process in detail.

    Thx - Friendly

  • I can't wait to start using good music on YouTube!

  • COOL :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!

  • :) :) :) =)

  • Hey, the idea seems pretty good. couple of questions: does the license work internationally or only in the US?

if you buy a license, you can put the song in multiple videos or if you want to use the same song for more than a video you have to buy the license again?

what artists are on the catalogue? will there be a chance for musicians to register at friendly music and upload their songs to be in the catalogue?

  • Hey @useless987,

Thanks for the many questions. Check out the help section of the FM website 2morrow if I don't get to them all in the allotted characters:) The license is for one video & allows people worldwide to view your video unless otherwise limited by the terms and conditions of the websites hosting your video. The FM catalog includes virtually all styles of music, too many to list, but our search options and featured playlist and artist can help you find that perfect song.

  • :):):)

  • This is the best thing that has happened to YouTube since introduction of HD videos on YouTube. Will you be able to use partial songs? Will the license work other places or just on YouTube?

  • Thx for the kind words @Rewatchable, and the blog post. We're excited to learn from the YT community and evolve Friendly Music into the best tool possible for them. Some answers:

Q: Will you be able to use partial songs?

A: Yes you will be able to use partial (and multiple) songs in a video and edit them to your liking.

Q:Will the license work other places or just on YouTube?

A:The license works on any UGC website but we're focusing on our partnership with YT at this time.

    Thx - Friendly
